It’s a poor use of Berlin’s public money to compensate landlords for taking their properties. This could be used instead to build affordable flats on many public land plots already identified. #Berlin #HousingCrisis

I’ll stipulate that Trump is an agent of Putin. Go down the checklist. 1. Destroyed the Western alliance? Putin wanted that. 2. Threatened a NATO ally over Greenland? Putin wanted that. 3. Pulled out of the intermediate nuclear pact? Putin wanted that. 4. Withdrawing 25-40,000 troops from Western Europe while Russian bellicosity is rising? Putin wanted that. 5. Russian satellites giving coordinates to Iranians killing our soldiers, and his response is “they kill us, we kill them”? What American president says that? I think he’s been compromised. The election of Donald Trump may be the greatest foreign policy success in post-Czarist Russian history.

IHere's what Pres.Trump has done for Vladimir Putin since 2017: 🇺🇸➡️🇷🇺 First term 1Stood next to Putin in Helsinki and took his word over U.S. intelligence 2Lobbied to bring Russia back into the G7 3Withheld military aid from Ukraine to squeeze Zelensky (impeachment #1) 4Pulled out of Syria, handing Russia a freer hand 5Openly questioned NATO's mutual-defense pledge 6Lifted sanctions on Deripaska-linked companies, including Rusal 7Walked away from the INF nuclear treaty 8Walked away from the Open Skies treaty, leaving our European allies with less visibility 🇺🇸➡️🇷🇺 Second term
9. Called Russia's G7 expulsion a "mistake"
10. Declared Moscow "holds all the cards"
11. Opened talks with Russia with zero preconditions
12. Berated Zelensky in the Oval Office, then paused aid and intel to Ukraine
13. Halted offensive cyber operations against Russia
14. Had the U.S. vote WITH Russia against a UN resolution condemning the invasion
15. Said "Crimea will stay with Russia"
16. Rolled out the red carpet for Putin in Alaska
17. Pressed Ukraine, not Russia, to give up territory 18. Starshield 19. Diesel 20. Revoke Graham sanctions That's not "America First." You could never make that list of things a President has done for Zelensky, or for NATO. Ask yourself why.

Russia is cooperating with Iran. So why is Trump cooperating with Russia? Like the diesel deal, this decision is a gift to the very forces attacking our service members.

It is a basic principle of American democracy that the government can’t selectively target individuals simply because of their political beliefs or what they say. But that’s exactly what the Trump Administration is doing to Congresswoman Ilhan Omar of Minnesota. To understand why this is so appalling, it’s important to know the facts. Congresswoman Omar came to this country with her father when she was 12 years old. Five years later, her father became a naturalized citizen. If Ilhan had been 18 at the time, she would have had to apply for citizenship separately. But because she was 17, she became a naturalized citizen automatically. Congresswoman Omar went on to graduate from college, work as a community organizer, become the first Somali-American legislator elected to public office in the U.S., and win a seat in Congress. There, she has been one of the Trump Administration’s fiercest critics, which has led the president to repeatedly single her out as someone who he believes does not belong in this country. Now the Administration is actively trying to deport Congresswoman Omar, seemingly based solely on the unsubstantiated theory that she was actually 18 when her father was naturalized, and therefore is not a citizen. Federal agents have raided her home, confiscated personal records, and seized her phone — all to try and uncover a nonexistent smoking gun from 20 years ago that will somehow make their case. Think about that. The full weight of the federal government is being brought down on a law-abiding elected official because she has dared to criticize the president. And it’s not the first time this has happened. Under President Trump, the Justice Department has repeatedly gone after those he considers his political enemies — from the Attorney General of New York, to the former head of the FBI, to members of the Federal Reserve. In those cases, the prosecutions either stalled or were dismissed for having no basis in law, and the same is likely to happen in this case. But not before Congresswoman Omar’s life has been turned upside down, her legal bills have piled up, and she’s been forced to spend time fighting unsubstantiated charges instead of serving the people of Minnesota. The fact that any president, or any administration, is willing to engage in such transparent efforts to intimidate someone should outrage all Americans, regardless of how they feel about Congresswoman Omar’s political views. Because if this becomes the new normal, there’s no reason to believe it will stop with her — or that future presidents, in either party, won’t do the same.

On October 16, 2019, I told Donald Trump, “With you, Mr. President, all roads lead to Putin.” On October 16, 2026, Trump signed an executive order waiving new sanctions on Russia passed by bipartisan majorities in Congress and signed into law just last month. This decision insults America’s commitment to democracy and our brave men and women in uniform, as Russia helps Iran target American forces. I join Republican senators in condemning this unconscionable capitulation to a Russian dictator who illegally invaded Ukraine and butchers innocent civilians. As I have asked for years: What does Putin have on Trump that he would sell out America’s values?

How is allowing European cars to keep using old technology that is harmful to the health of citizens going to help the car industry with China’s innovation and subsidies? The French-German car deal is bad for Europe! #Germany #EU #EVs #Merz #France

A month ago Trump signed a tough Russia sanctions law. One call with Putin later, he's lifting sanctions on Russian diesel, demanding Kyiv stop hitting Russian refineries, and telling Ukraine to get "a new leader." His big "energy ceasefire"? Russian drones hit Kharkiv within hours. Putin humiliates Trump every chance he gets. Why does Trump allow it? 🤔

We have no hereditary memory of fascism. In Britain you go to the Churchill War Rooms or bombed out areas of London. In France you go to Normandy and in Poland you go to Auschwitz. The scourge of Nazism is in the veins of those countries. It lives in their schools, their field trips, their national consciousness. We had a Nazi movement here too, America First in the late 1930s. Charles Lindbergh led it, there was even a Nazi rally at Madison Square Garden. Franklin Roosevelt banded together with people who had strength and courage and put that movement down. We don’t have that now. We have jellyfish. Republican politicians put their personal power, their personal needs, their self-aggrandizement ahead of the American public. The Constitution is still there and the institutions are still there. But the people who are supposed to use them are hiding under their desks.

A Russian ballistic missile attack on Kyiv. Once again, no early warning from our partners. The main target was energy infrastructure, specifically CHPP-4. Unfortunately, it was hit. A residential building was also damaged, and rescuers are currently putting out a fire there. Our systems detected these missiles only when they were already virtually on approach to Kyiv. CHPP-4 is one of Kyiv’s key energy facilities. According to our intelligence, the Russians are preparing further ballistic missile launches. The facts show that the Russians do not consider themselves bound by what the President of the United States said. Ukraine supported an energy ceasefire. Russia is targeting yet another power plant and the lives of our people. And this is absolutely unjust: when they are destroying our energy infrastructure, and Ukraine is not even receiving early warnings about ballistic missile launches. It is important that the world does not stay silent about this. And it is important that the United States really see what is happening and who is responsible for this war continuing. Please stay safe tonight and tomorrow. We are working to replenish our air defenses with anti-ballistic missiles.

We never communicate what we will do next in our operations. Last night, we did not attack any energy facilities on the territory of Russia because President Trump said that there would be an energy ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia. We did not attack, while Russia attacked our gas stations, energy infrastructure, and other facilities. I think it was Putin’s answer to President Trump. And the message from Russia was very clear – they don't know anything about the energy ceasefire. It's a pity, because they always find reasons not to stop this war. Which is why I think we need more pressure on Russia. From an interview with Fox News.

America is an incurious culture. When I speak in the US and ask, raise your hand if you know what the Mosaic Defense Doctrine is, almost nobody raises their hand. When the president was presented with it by his own intelligence team, he dismissed it. Here’s what the Iranians knew. They watched America in Afghanistan and Iraq for 20 years. They said, when they come for us, they’ll try to decapitate our leadership. They won’t do a ground invasion, mountainous terrain, 93 million people, a skilled and educated population. Two decades of nightmarish ground wars costing $8 trillion have made that impossible. So they built the Mosaic Defense Doctrine. 31 autonomous units inside the country, went 9 or 10 layers deep. Every time you hit one layer, a new group stepped in. The Iranians planned for exactly what happened. The president dismissed it and led the American military into a major disaster.
