fucking saudis bought overwatch forgot to pay
Kristian '@KellexOW' Keller says Al Qadsiah still owe him roughly $23,000 in prize money, more than a year after the club's best season in Overwatch.
The other players are waiting too.

Retiring from competitive Overwatch. Competing no longer makes sense given lack of financial incentives, absurd hours, and the even worse than expected 2024 ecosystem. It's time to relentlessly dominate the corporate world (work 9-5 while diligently following company policies)

How good were the announcements for Overwatch at Blizzcon?
I asked @jakeow, @GunbaOW, @seeker_ow, & @Thee_Hawk about the upcoming content and changes, discussing new heroes, Clash, a new map draft system, and general impressions.
They disagreed on much more than I expected.👇
Great run with a great organization. I intend to continue competing in Overwatch with new teams as soon as this year, however am interested in continuing to compete in 2024 when we have more details about the future.
A season that made history. From winning the Pro-Am to winning Grand Finals this year has truly been incredible.
We want to thank our players and staff for their endless dedication to making this the best year yet for Mayhem and our fans. Their passion and talent have exemplified what it means to be a champion.
Moving forward, we’re allowing all our players and staff to enter free agency and explore other opportunities as we wait to see the future of Overwatch League.
Sacrificing salary this year in exchange for a cut of the prize money so that we could fit @CH0R0NG_OW into the budget turned out to be a good financial decision.

Congrats @GunbaOW on winning Coach of the Year! #LETHEMCOOK
We signed MAKA to prepare for next season where we are not likely to be able to retain most of our current players as of course we are a low budget team. We don't intend to use him this season and we are not going full Korean.
