📜 Our History: our name traces back to 24th September 1878, when Fr Philip Fletcher, on retreat at Roehampton, realised it was the Feast of Our Lady of Ransom and wrote in his prayer book: "I dedicate all my work to Our Lady of Ransom." Our Lady of Ransom, pray for us 🙏

On 9th October 1845, John Henry Newman was received into the Catholic Church at Littlemore, Oxford: the day now kept as his feast in England and Wales. He was among the very first to join our Guild in 1887. St John Henry Newman, pray for us 🙏
