Adorable
They don’t steal, they survive.
Every morning, the butcher leaves a box of bones outside his shop. Not for profit, not for attention, but for the ones with no home, no bowl, no guarantee of a next meal.
One by one, they come. Each takes just a piece, carefully, almost politely, like they understand it’s a gift.
It’s not much, but to them, it’s everything.
And to the man who leaves it there, it’s a quiet act of kindness the world could use a little more of.

"What do I get?"
The most useful marketing advice I heard at TikTok's Agency Leadership Summit came from a chef.
Alex @Guarnaschelli, in the fireside chat, talking about how she named her first cookbook.
Her dad gave her one rule. Before you pick a title, answer the reader's only real question: what do I get?
The options floating around were things like "Cook With Me," or just her name on the cover. She went with "Old-School Comfort Food," because that is what you actually get when you open it.
I have thought about that three times since I left.
It is the same mistake I see in ad accounts every week. Brands write headlines about themselves. Their name, their heritage, their clever tagline. The one thing the customer is actually asking, what do I get, never makes it onto the page.
The ads that work usually just say, in plain words, what the person gets for the click. The ones that struggle are busy admiring themselves.
She figured that out for a cookbook over a decade ago. A lot of landing pages still have not.
Sneaky tricks with such slim margins. Restaurants are fighting to stay alive and there are articles about figuring how restaurants can make even less. 🤷♀️🤷♀️

The Kitchen on @FoodNetwork was the best day time tv show. It’s a shame they cancelled this work of art. Been just watching it during the day with my newborn son. Shoutout @guarnaschelli @KatieLeeKitchen @gzchef @JeffMauro @SunnyAnderson
