Tuesday is proving to be one of those days where the diary leaves very little room to breathe. Engagements back to back, more conversations than I can count, and barely a moment to collect my thoughts. Still, duty rarely waits for a quieter day.
There’s something rather satisfying about a slow Saturday afternoon. A decent drink, a good book, and absolutely no intention of rushing anywhere. Not every moment needs a purpose, and not every weekend needs to be productive. Sometimes, doing very little is quite enough.

Somewhere between a full calendar and an empty coffee cup, I’m beginning to question which one is proving more difficult to deal with today.
Either way, I suspect another coffee is the answer.

A lazy Sunday night. Whisky in hand, feet up, and absolutely no intention of doing anything productive before Monday decides to ruin the peace.

My father smiled.
“You already do.”
“I don’t feel like it.”
He studied me for a moment.
Then his expression softened.
“You don’t have to feel like a prince tonight, Arthur.” >
