Finally got around to finish this model. Yes, I do like red color a lot, although technically it's tintable. 😝

I like heroes/protagonists to be moral and good characters. The fact that "do gooder" character is seen as annoying to some people? Odd to me, but each to their own, I guess. 🤷 PS: The Expanse is great.
The Expanse is one of very very few shows to grapple with the idea that the do gooder protagonist would be tremendously annoying to everyone else the entire universe

Well done with the nostalgia, Diablo IV. Tristram as we knew it, with the original music as well.

Been cooking more things (as I try to learn better 3D modelling), so here's a WIP for a brigandine low-poly/retopologized mesh. Decided to be lazy this time, I really don't want to sculpt every rivet, lol. 😅

My quest to learn Unreal Engine goes on. Learnt cloth physics, making hair/grooms, applying weather effects to character model, basic level sculpting, lights. I may not be too social due to my current RL situation, but, things like this keep me going.

I got to reading fantasy after I had my fill of greek mythology. One thing about fantasy (or at least the kind I like), is, more equality (female knights, WEEE!), magic & dragons, as opposed to real ol' times. 😁
Today, medieval fantasy allows us to escape and explore worlds of elves, dragons, and the very same mythical monsters of the Middle Ages that people once actually believed in. But where did the fantasy genre come from? 🧵 (You'll want to bookmark this)

They're not even trying to hide it anymore. The absolute disgusting, sexist, racist attitude. Make it normal to not tolerate this kind of PoS behavior publically. 🤮

Basic Gambeson finished. Phew. I also got my tintable material fixed, so things are tintable, weeee. 😁 Sidenote, but default light effects in Unreal Engine look like washed up ass. *groan*

Properly looking fantasy armor. Love to see it.

Trying to learn Mutable system in Unreal engine 5.8... ofc, all tutorials are for 5.6 and they revamped the f*cking system enough, so that tutorials are not applicable anymore. The joys, lool. 😒

Well, I think that one's finished. 😁 Need to go and get stupid tinting for my material in Unreal Engine to work, so it's not all red.

Ah yes, fun times. I'm a spaghetti girl. Seriously, trying to figure out how to set up tintable armor/outfit parts Material in Unreal Engine here, n00bies are cute, because goodness, am I clueless. I really should stick to character art, lmao. 😆

Lul, aparently, new Heroes 3 Remaster will make armor look nicer. I hated the designs in the old ones, even though I played shitton of them, with the usual syndrome of 'one more turn' w/ my husbando. Kudos, hopefully they won't change it back.

But it's only a small indie studio... oh wait. LMFAO! 😆😆
If you ever feel bad about botching your indie game release, remember that you'll never be as bad as Ubisoft. They literally forgot to upload the actual game.

Seriously, this is insane, for one-dev game, it definitelly needs to get more buzz. It's an indie small open world RPG, focused on exploration and adventuring, with a nice, colorful fantasy world-setting.
You do get better with time...I recently replaced some of the oldest meshes in my game (Hermit) with new art made from the ground up. It's a big difference. 🎮 Demo on Steam at store.steampowered.com/app/3… #indiegame #indiedev #gaming #unrealengine #pcgaming #gamingnews #openworld

Pants sculpting done. Hyperfocusing hard on this, lmao. Need to do retopo, where I suuuuuck. I need to make shoes as well, but I have no idea about what shoes to make to go along with this. <.<

My quest to learn 3D modelling goes on. Retopo of my current newest thing done. Texturing and baking time, me thinks.

Food for thought - AI currently tries to do things backwards. Here I am doing retopo of my high poly model I made earlier, and thinking - why can't we have AI for boring sh*t that nobody enjoys, like retopo and unwrapping? (And rigging, f*ck I hate rigging).

My point being, /why/ would I want AI to do the creative, fun parts for me? It really should aim to remove tedium, to be useful for 3D artists.
