I am pleased to announce that the Department of the Interior, under the auspices of Secretary Doug Burgum, and in conjunction with famed Golf Course Architect, Tom Fazio, has developed a plan to build a World Class Championship Golf Course on the site of the current East Potomac Golf Links, located in Washington, D.C. When completed, it will be open to the Public while, at the same time, designed to the Highest Level of Golf and able to hold World Class Tournaments such as the U.S. Open, the PGA Championship, the Ryder Cup, and the Presidents Cup. This Course will create many Jobs, and have a tremendously positive Economic Development impact on Washington, D.C., and the surrounding area. Millions of Dollars will inure to the Capital area. The current Course is old, broken, dilapidated, and of no further use or effect. It is in very poor condition, with falling, dangerous, and disease infested trees and, importantly, a collapsing and hazardous seawall. When the East Potomac Course was originally built, it was famous for no trees, with views of Washington, D.C., for all to see, but now, it is completely overgrown, dysfunctional, and unsafe. Restoration work will begin on the Fazio Design on November 15th, when the old Course will be closed to play. The new Course will be opened in approximately 15 months. The United States Golf Association, PGA of America, and the PGA Tour have already been notified that they will soon have one of the Best and Most Spectacular Golf Courses anywhere in the World to put on their list of great places to play, and hold Major Events. Endelig. Efter månedsvis på fuld kraft for at få gårsdagens optog på benene, fik jeg lov til at gå omkuld. Det gjorde godt med lidt søvn. Min vurdering er klar, dagen var en succes. Vi havde et godt fremmøde, deltagerne fulgte vores anvisninger, og hele optoget blev gennemført i godt, fredeligt og festligt humør. Men vi blev også mødt af udfordringer. Vores følgevogn, som skulle have højttalere monteret, var blevet saboteret. Mens vi befandt os på Kongens Nytorv, kom folk fra den ekstreme venstrefløj forbi scenen ved Christiansborg. De stjal vores bannere og klippede ledningerne til lydanlægget over. Vores scene og lydmand var chokeret over det, han blev udsat for. Heldigvis blev han ikke fysisk overfaldet. Og her viser det sig, hvor meget dygtige og professionelle mennesker betyder. Han gik straks i gang, fik skaderne udbedret og havde lyd og scene klar igen, inden optoget nåede frem til Christiansborg. Trods den yderste venstrefløjs forsøg på at sabotere vores arrangement og forhindre os i at gøre brug af vores forsamlingsfrihed og ytringsfrihed, gennemførte vi både optoget og hele programmet. Vi lod os ikke gøre tavse. Ikke af sabotage, ikke af trusler, ikke af dem, der åbenbart mener, at ytringsfrihed kun gælder mennesker, de selv er enige med. Et kæmpe tak til alle deltagere, som gjorde dagen til den folkefest, vi ønskede. Og et mindst lige så stort tak til alle dem bag kulisserne, som gennem længere tid har lagt timer, kræfter og hjerte i at gøre dagen mulig. De forsøgte at stoppe os. Vi gennemførte alligevel. #dkpol #dkmedier

I dag så vi venstrefløjens maskerede og voldelige fascister i Københavns gader. De havde fra morgenstunden saboterer den bil som vi oprindeligt skulle have benyttet. Efter vores scene ved Christiansborg var sat op ved middagstid, havde de saboteret scenen, revet vores bannere ned og klippet ledninger til højtalerne. Derudover så var der æggekast mod vores optog med både børn og pensionister iblandt. De overfaldt civilklædte politibetjente og borgere, og kom i flere sammenstød med politiet. Og brændte Dannebrog i Københavns gader. Sig hej til den voldelige fascistiske venstrefløj som ikke tolere politiske modstandere og forsøger at gøre dem tavse.

Another security incident was recorded at Leipzig/Halle Airport overnight after a section of the security fence was found damaged near three Russian Antonov cargo planes grounded under EU sanctions. The hole was discovered around 11 p.m. Investigators suspect a vehicle may have crashed through the fence at high speed, although the circumstances remain unclear. Police searched the grounds overnight but found no unauthorized persons or suspicious objects. The damaged section is approximately two kilometres from the Russian aircraft. The airport’s north runway was temporarily closed, but flights continued via the south runway, with no disruption to passenger or cargo traffic.
