I suspect the clerics are worried that Islamic women will fantasise about having sex with non-muslim men who might care for them and not beat them up ... rather than smelly unwashed medieval paedophiles. They are probably right!

Russia, Trump and their bots are not just Ukraine's enemy, but the enemy of the entire free world.
And I'll stand with Ukraine until every inch of Ukraine is free 馃嚭馃嚘

We've all had enough of far right Putin-bots like you, mate!

You don't speak for the people of Britain, foreign wanker.
I reckon at least 80% of us totally support Zelenskyy and Ukraine. Putin is a genocidal fascist psychopath who cannot be allowed to annexe other countries lands. It says a lot about you that you support Putin.
A relationship is a two-way street. It isn't fair for the Falklands to demand British military protection, whilst rejecting being part of our nation. To be honest, I don't think they have done the latter. My suggestion has never been seriously put to them.
And yes all the other BOT's with a permanent population, plus the Crown Dependencies, should be offered the same deal.
Either become part of the UK properly, like Scotland or Wales, whilst still running your domestic affairs, or pursue independence. No halfway house.
Unfortunately, their decision affects us too. Our armed forces may be called upon to defend the Falklands again with their lives. If a simple change of status on paper (without any actual political change) reduces that risk, it should be accepted.
I'm happy for the Falklands to remain as they are. However, must of the world uses their status to claim they are a colonial anachronism, they undermining our argument against Argentina. The solution is rather simple, and in no way undermines the islands existing autonomy.
It's never been offered to them. And the alternative might be integration into Argentina. Just saying.
As I said, Roger. Anti-British prejudice at the UN. There is no legitimate reason to keep the Falklands on this list (or many of the other BOT's for that matter) and yet they remain.
Full UK integration would remove some of the arguments of our enemies, c.f. Hawaii statehood.

Depends how it is done.
They could keep exactly the same powers of self-government, including control over borders. However, they would elect an MP who can vote on matters affecting the Falklands, principally defence and foreign affairs, and also act as a voice in parliament.

Not true. The US had Hawaii and Alaska removed. Denmark had Greenland removed. France has had several territories, including St Pierre and Miquelon, removed. You just have to ask and nobody at the UN blocks it. In theory, the 2013 ref should have been sufficient for Falklands.

Sorry but this simply isn't true. Trump has cosied up to Putin, the West's number one enemy and has undermined NATO. He has all but destroyed the special relationship between the US and UK. His pointless war in Iran has doubled fuel prices. He is a terrible president.

I think the status of BOT's should be changed to make them (on paper) fully integrated parts of the UK, but with devolved government (like Scotland). They could elect MP's to Westminster, though with restricted voting rights. One MP could cover Falklands, St Helena & Gibraltar.

The Falklands should not even be on the list of non self-governing territories requiring "decolonisation", particularly since the 2013 referendum. Similar territories like Saint Pierre and Miquelon or the Faroes do not appear. Another example of anti-British bias at the UN.

It looks like Guinness 0.0% if you zoom in on the can.
Regardness, non-alcoholic beers are brewed liked beers before having tbe alcohol removed. They still have traces of alcohol and are thus haram. Maybe these ginger incels won't get their 72 virgins in paradise after all?

I remember working in Blackburn, Lancashire, for a while. Basically a town of third world slums segregated between muslim and white working class areas. In the centre, and dominating the town, a gleaming white tower. The socialist council. Straight out of the USSR.

I would like to think so. However, the ICJ is dominated by Russia, China, and many third world dictatorships and other countries that hate the UK. Even our own left-wing "anti-colonialism" lawyers are involved. Look at the Chagos decision. I suspect the ICJ might back Argentina.
