Don’t believe that Ketel is necessarily unhappy with the D-Backs. Would argue he just wants to be able to do what he pleases, whenever he pleases.
So the question is less, “do you want to be a D-Back?” and more “do you want to be a professional baseball player?”
Do you understand what that entails? Do you love the game? Does it kill you inside when you can’t be on the field with your teammates? OR do you just really like the money, the clothes, the jewelry, and the fame? Do you want to simply do the minimum and collect a check?

If I’m @KennyDillingham and I’m insisting on playing Cutter Boley I would completely abandon the run game. Especially the read option. Boley is not a threat to run so it doesn’t work. The strength of this team is WR. Spread out the field and let Boley sling it 50 times a game.
The debate for the Cardinals shouldn’t be between Jacoby Brissett & Carson Beck right now. There’s a reason Gardner Minshew is here. Especially with Paris Johnson out now. It’s a long season. Give Minshew a few games before you throw Beck to the Wolves.

They were never going to win this year never - I had 3-14 what did you have? Best our station I think was 5-11. Bidwill always says he wants to win fact is the win percentage is about the same from before the new stadium to after the new stadium- it starts at the top.
ASU returned 4 starters. 2026 was always going to be a roller coaster ride. Yesterday was a horrendous football game. Kenny Dillingham is a good coach. He needs to get this team straightened out. Hopefully the $2 million they are paying Boley doesn’t get in the way of that.
Cutter Boley plays like he is just trying to not make mistakes. He hesitates on risky throws. Not willing to go for the big play. He’s got to get over that at some point.

Have to wonder if this deal is as much about the pending work stoppage as it is anything else. Gives the D-backs consistency for what may be a significantly shorter season and let's Torey stay where he's comfortable in an uncertain time.
Torey Lovullo will be returning as Diamondbacks manager, per @nickpiecoro.
His new deal keeps him in Arizona for two years.

To have sustained success NFL teams are built through the draft. It is wild to me that since 1996 the Arizona Cardinals have had 4 different GMs and only produced 1 great draft in 2004. I thought Graves and Keim were bad but Monti Ossenfort might be the worst of the bunch.
