Here's something not many scousers will know. Buffalo Bill came to Liverpool with a travelling show.
Cl William F. Cody (Buffalo Bill) brought his Wild West Show to Newham Park in 1891.
Not just Indians, but Cossaks, Mongolians, Gauchos and more
What sight that must have been – at Liverpool, England

From Red Rick:
I have more licences for plant equipment than Soft Mick. I've worked at most levels of logistics, done bits in the building trade and even run a shop.
Now I'm on the dole, living off a pittance.
Experience is wasted under a capitalist system because someone like me, with a disability, can't commit to a certain level of attendance.
Profit isn't drawn from a workers ability but from capitalist exploitation of labour.
Under capitalism, it doesn't matter how much a worker has grafted or how many tickets he's got. What matters is how much profit can be extracted from his labour. As Marx explained, the capitalist profits by paying the worker less than the value their labour produces, pocketing the difference as surplus value.
Skill and experience may increase the value a worker produces, but does not guarantee employment or even a decent standard of living.
The moment your labour can no longer be consistently exploited profitably, you're on the scrap heap and surplus to requirements. All those years of experience, all those skills and all that knowledge become worthless to the capitalist. Under a planned economy workers are nutured to help them create the maximum they can.
"From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs"
That's the absurdity of a parasitical system where the ability to contribute to society isn't held in high esteem, only the ability to generate profit for the ruling class.

Not often I agree with Liverpool Fans but Kanye West has been shite since his name change.

What she really means is that in order to meet the demands of the ruling class, they must stitch up their internal democratic processes to prevent those with problematic beliefs from setting policy.

No explosives found. No Iranian connection publicly established. Yet politicians and newspapers were already pointing the finger at Iran. Our latest article looks at how the incident at RAF Fairford became another useful story for the ruling class to push us towards more imperialist wars.

🇫🇷 FRANCE: PROTESTS GROW TOWARD MILLIONS OF PARTICIPANTS. Spread to major cities throughout the nation.
If this was happening in Russia or China, DPR Korea, Cuba, Vietnam, Venezuela, Niger, Burkina Faso, Belarus, Iran, Yemen, Lebanon… there would be Wall to wall TV News coverage, it would be called a revolution, and NATO would be organising and agitating to militarily intervene.
As it is happening in france, at the unstable centre of the EU imperialist alliance, the times of London opines:
“On Boulevard Voltaire in the capital, riot police charged about 300 masked, hooded protesters at the front of the march, who pelted them with stones.
“They are hostile and trying to provoke the police,” a spokesman for the Paris police préfecture said. “These are people who are there to cause trouble.”

Patrick, my biggest hope is you are at peace and I hope wherever you are, the pain is long gone and your spirit feels free.
I cannot change what happened, I cannot bring you back, but I can let the love I have for my brother, change the way I live the rest of my life.

🇫🇷 - News FROM FRANCE
The Firefighters and Police stand down, they chose the stand up with the people of France.
They have stopped taking orders and stood for the rights of the people.
Well Done men 👏 🫡
Immediate reasons for the protest were:
Major labour and teachers' unions (such as the SNES-FSU) have joined high school and university students to strike against severe educational underfunding.
Core demands directed at the government include:
• Replacing absent teachers and fixing acute understaffing.
• Reducing class sizes, which students report have expanded to overcrowded levels of over 35 pupils.
• Repairing dilapidated, ageing school buildings.
• Reviewing school hours, specifically the exhausting 8am to 6pm schedule.
• Reforming the opaque nature of the French university admissions platform.
But the domestic anger about the reduction of social services is becoming a generalised expression of anger and discontent, picking up where the pre-covid “Yellow Vest” movement left off.
In terms of the French government of Macron, threatens from all sides, his priorities are clear:
There are important things to spend the national budget on:
There is the revolt of the middle eastern people to suppress, the genocide in Palestine to complete, the occupation of Lebanon and Syria, the people of Yemen to crush and the Iranian civilisation to destroy.
There is Expensive US oil and gas purchase, as France has been an enthusiastic supporter of bombing Nord Stream pipeline (don’t mention it. Or Boucha, btw!!)
France is having to fight another African war to recolonise Niger and Burkina Faso, to get the free uranium flowing again (France’s energy grid is principally dependent on nuclear fuel).
And then of course there is the war on Russia. I mean “defence of fascism in Ukraine” I mean “slava ukrani!”…
Well look anyway: schools are right out! There needs of the Bourse, the City of London and Wall Street are urgent and pressing.
That feeling when you finally finish articles that you have been staring at for bloody ages 💪💪 – at Liverpool, England

As Brazil’s election goes to a second round, Raphinha is one of the few players in the Brazilian national team to have openly taken a stand against the far right.
Raphinha, who plays for Barcelona, was also one of the footballers who openly criticized the previous Bolsonaro government in public.
