"Sometimes people don't want to hear the Truth because they don't want their illusions destroyed"
Friedrich Nietzche
We are constantly told how evil Vladimir Putin is and that he cannot be trusted.
But then I see this 2013 interview with Piers Morgan, in which Bill Clinton stated that Putin had honoured all the agreements they had made, saying,
"He kept his word on all the deals we had made"

This was one of the most PAINFUL CAR CRASH interviews you’ll ever see with Labour foreign minister Stephen Doughty on @GMB about Andy Burnham saying Russia interfered in the Brexit referendum.
Susanna Reid grows increasingly frustrated as he refuses to answer her questions, and even Ed Balls eventually tears into him for the “embarrassing waffle”.
Doughty is asked again and again about the Prime Minister’s claims but he just keeps ignoring the questions and repeating the same empty line: that Russia has been attempting to interfere with our democratic processes for many years.
Susanna tries to force him onto the 2016 vote itself. She asks what Russia actually did, whether it influenced voters, and whether it affected the result. He refuses to give any specifics and just repeats the line.
When she asks “Why are you not getting into specifics when the Prime Minister has just got into the specifics?”, he claims Burnham was only speaking more broadly.
She keeps pressing. He keeps repeating the line like a robot. She asks if the Prime Minister was wrong.
Doughty: “The PM has been very clear about Russian attempts to interfere in our democratic processes.”
By now Susanna is openly angry and accuses him of “muddying the waters not clarifying them”.
He almost laughably says the same thing again. He isn’t listening. He might as well have come on just to read a statement.
Susanna points out that if the result of such a huge decision was influenced, the public deserves answers about what the interference actually was.
Doughty claims the PM only said “attempted to interfere”. Susanna cuts in immediately: “He doesn’t say ‘attempted to interfere!’”
They play Burnham’s actual comments. Doughty goes straight back to the identical line. Susanna tries one final time. Same response.
It is at this point that Ed Balls, clearly fed up, lays into him:
“This is EMBARRASSING. It’s really bad for politics when you just blatantly don’t answer the question on something so important and go back to a nonsensical line, which is contradicted by what the Prime Minister just said!”
He goes further: “Either answer Susanna’s question or just say I’m not going to. This waffle is embarrassing!”
Doughty: “It’s not waffle at all Ed!” Then repeats the line yet again.
It is waffle, and I never thought I’d say this but well done Ed Balls for bluntly calling him out. It was embarrassing.
Andy Burnham should never have said it. We’ve been through all this. Russia did not in any way, shape or form influence the outcome of that referendum. Dragging this nonsense back up is reckless and a disgrace.

Fox News' Rachel Campos-Duffy tells Brian Kilmeade that Boris Johnson helped sabotage the Istanbul peace talks between Ukraine and Russia in April 2022. She's 100% accurate. Ukrainian officials have confirmed it.
With the exception of when Tucker Carlson still had a Fox News show, this might be the only time this critical incident has ever been mentioned on any of the cable news networks. It's still memory-holed on MSNOW and CNN, along with the major newspapers.

Targeting bridges in urban areas is a pretty NATO thing to do. Though it took Russia five years to start doing it, NATO started targeting urban bridges after a week.

On the day of my speech, I was barred from entering the European Parliament. I directly attribute this to Zelenskyy’s sanctions. But the speech will go ahead anyway, because I know that I represent a huge segment of society that longs for peace and wants to be heard.
Right before the Ukranian Secret Service killed him, Gonzalo Lira, an American journalist, spilled the ugly truth about how Zelensky was nothing more than a puppet, handcrafted and bankrolled by the Israeli-Jewish billionaire Kolomoysky.
The US administration couldn’t be bothered to investigate this tragedy.
It stood by, looked the other way, and acted as though the death of a US citizen didn’t matter.....

This is a very misleading, and even outright false statement.
1. That is according to Ukrainian government-controlled sources (Deepstate) and the Ukrainian general staff. Actual independent open sources do not report anything near what you are saying.
2. Ukraine carried out 70 long-range strikes, now try guess how many Russia carried out? Spoiler alert, it’s about 10 times more, according to Ukrainian media themselves. If you want to claim Russia is losing, then you can’t just look at figures from one side that are the most comfortable to you.
3. Again, only according to Ukrainian government-controlled sources. Most truly independent mappers have actually reported an increase in the rate of Russian advances in recent months.
4. “At the current pace of advance, blah blah blah” we’re almost 5 years into this war and we’re still parroting this fucking ridiculous linear warfare claim?? How many times does it have to be said that advances in a war of attrition are NOT linear. They also aren’t even the main indicator of who is winning an attritional war. Remember how it went from “at the current rate of advance Russia will need 1,000 years to take Kyiv”, to “500 years” to now “90 years”. That’s decreasing precisely because advances aren’t linear. This claim is fucking absurd and it’s a blatant misrepresentation of reality.
