Checking our clients' digital PR campaigns we did 6+ months ago, I am seeing them become the top cited sources for LLMs, even for pretty huge sites.
There's, of course, a lot into that (apart from the fact that LLMs do love citing stats):
✅ Solid organic findability (direct correlation with citability. PR projects that didn't end up ranking well in Google are not cited that well)
✅ Strategic (and ethical) seeding on Reddit
I've seen many studies that LLMs seem to "trust" sources that regularly publish authority-driving content (original research, whitepapers, etc). Whether it is because they are like people (original research makes people believe a site is kind of a big deal) or because of all other signals (mainly, organic search visibility), but it surely works!
Bottom line: If you want to get cited by LLMs, invest in original research in your niche!

I just had the craziest customer service experience at the airport
Last night we stayed at the Four Points hotel in Salt Lake City. We had an early morning flight and the hotel offers a free shuttle to the airport.
Traveling with 3 kids means your mind is scattered in a million pieces. So when the shuttle dropped us off at the airport at 4:15am, I realized I forgot my glasses
I’ve had glasses since 5th grade and I’m pretty much dependent on them for everything (driving, working, etc.). This is also my only pair because apparently I haven’t learned my lesson enough times
When I realized I forgot them, I immediately called the hotel and explained what happened. The front desk attendant asked for my room number and if I was still at the airport.
“No problem. I’ll find them and have the shuttle driver bring them over.”
Instant relief
15 minutes later I get a call saying the driver was on his way with my glasses and I should meet him outside
Sure enough, Allen, the shuttle driver for the Four Points by Sheraton was there with my glasses.
One of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had. The hotel front desk attendant could have offered to ship them or even tell me I was out of luck. But instead she went to my room, found my glasses, and sent the driver to find me at the airport.
@sheratonhotels you’ve got a good crew working for you at the Four Points in SLC. Thank you!

Good news children!
Stop Killing Games says it has won a major victory after joining Mozilla, Proton, Amnesty International, Reporters Without Borders, and several major VPN providers to oppose UK plans that could have restricted VPNs.
The UK government has confirmed it will not ban or require age checks for VPNs. Instead, it will focus on other ways to stop children from bypassing online age checks, while recognizing that VPNs are important for privacy and security.
SKG says this is part of its wider campaign against parts of the UK’s Online Safety Act.
The group believes internet restrictions and software age checks could make it harder to support mods, private servers, Linux, independent software, and game preservation.

I crossed 7 million views on LinkedIn. A couple of interesting things:
1. I don't use LinkedIn analytics as a main indicator. I don't check it very often. I use positive qualitative signals:
- post/comments where people tag me,
- direct messages,
- inbound requests from LinkedIn,
- direct playbook sales.
2. It's very tricky with likes and views. It's possible to have big numbers but have 0 customers. A lot of people with big audiences post superficial content and get a lot of likes. And nobody will tell you about the real numbers.
3. If you don't use any engagement groups and tricks, your engagement can be very different. I have posts with 40 likes. I have posts with 400 likes. And I have posts with 1500+ likes. And that's normal.
4. Viral posts constitute the majority of this impression growth. But you can grow your audience and be profitable without virality.
5. Social proof posts (like testimonials from previous clients or case studies) bring the lowest number of views/likes. BUT they perform well to bring real results.
6. I don't follow a lot of best practices. I could have more views and likes. Maybe even sales. But I do what works for me (personally and professionally).
7. LinkedIn is a long game. And time-consuming, too. If someone with a big audience tells you that they spend 15 min on LinkedIn, they're lying. Engaging with others takes time. Responding to comments takes time. Creating good content takes a lot of time.

🚨MIT researchers have mathematically proven that ChatGPT’s built-in sycophancy creates a phenomenon they call “delusional spiraling.”
You ask it something, it agrees. You ask again, and it agrees even harder until you end up believing things that are flat-out false and you can’t tell it’s happening.
The model is literally trained on human feedback that rewards agreement.
Real-world fallout includes one man who spent 300 hours convinced he invented a world-changing math formula, and a UCSF psychiatrist who hospitalized 12 patients for chatbot-linked psychosis in a single year.

130 schools said no.
He led the losingest program in college football history to a national championship anyway.
Fernando Mendoza was a 2-star recruit from Miami.
He tried to walk on at his hometown school. They passed.
So did FIU.
So did FAU.
So did everyone else.
At 17, he was sitting in his bedroom, crying over a silent recruiting inbox—after driving to 18 camps with his dad and sending highlights to more than 100 programs.
Not one FBS offer.
His only option? Yale. No scholarship. No NFL path.
Everyone told him to be “realistic.”
“Know your place.”
“Be grateful.”
He didn’t listen.
Because Mendoza understood something most people miss:
The worst outcome isn’t failing.
It’s never getting the chance to try.
Two weeks before signing day in 2022, his phone rang.
Cal needed a body. One offer. Out of 134 schools.
He took it.
He arrived as the third-string quarterback.
Spent a year on the scout team.
Lost his first four starts.
Got sacked 41 times behind a broken offensive line.
Still got up. Every time.
Then Cal brought in a transfer instead of building around him.
So Mendoza left the only school that had ever said yes.
He transferred to Indiana—the losingest program in college football history.
People laughed.
“Career suicide.”
“Graveyard program.”
“Nobody wins there.”
One coach told him something different:
“I’m going to make you the best Fernando Mendoza possible.”
That was enough.
Mendoza wasn’t just playing for football.
His mother has battled multiple sclerosis for 18 years.
Before every snap, he thought of her.
“My mother is my why.”
Indiana went 16–0.
Beat six Top-10 teams.
Won their first Big Ten title since 1945.
Mendoza threw 41 touchdowns.
Won the Heisman—first in school history.
First Cuban-American to ever do it.
Then came the title game.
Miami. Near his hometown.
Fourth-and-4. Season on the line.
Quarterback draw.
The kid 134 schools rejected spun through defenders and dove into the end zone.
Game over.
Indiana—national champions.
The losingest program became the best team in America.
All because a 17-year-old refused to believe “no” was the end.
Rankings don’t decide your ceiling.
Gatekeepers don’t write your ending.
Being overlooked isn’t a verdict—it’s a starting point.
Sometimes all you need is one shot…
and the courage to bet on yourself when nobody else will.
Don’t quit.

I am going to keep saying that the public school system is no place for your children. I will say it with feeling, and with love. But I won’t stop.
The public schools are consistently more liberal, Marxist, and humanist every year. You don’t have to just worry about sex-Ed classes anymore. The indoctrination (Yes- that’s what it is) is saturating every subject.
Math is taught with “diversity and inclusion,” science is never ever neutral, history is decidedly biased against you, your God, and your patriotism, and writing assignments include all of the above.
Homeschooling isn’t just a choice about which building Johnny sits in to read his social studies textbook every day.
It’s about a very different kind of upbringing.
The public school experience is the complete package of everything the children of Christians should avoid: secular, anti-God education, thousands of unsupervised hours with peers from all backgrounds, radical teachers, and a state and federal education system that is bent on making everyone oppressed, racist, and sexually confused.
Homeschooling means kids grow up learning about that 👆🏻 world from their parents, with biblical instruction, conversation, and critical thinking. It’s not about shelter, necessarily; but I don’t know why you wouldn’t want shelter from everything I just mentioned.
I’m not going to apologize for telling it like it is. I would regret that someday I’d have to apologize for not saying it enough.

What's my prediction for the future of homeschooling? More microschools.
There will be more & more families getting together over shared values to build community.

🚨We’re in the middle of a real emergency. Because of the government shutdown and the fact that SNAP is running out of funds, 42 million Americans who rely on food assistance could be left without help.
👉 Go here if you’re ready to STEP UP and help our brothers and sisters in need: tonyr.co/49sVrsk
That’s 42 million people — families, children, and seniors — who will go hungry unless WE, the people, step up.
I’m partnering with @sharingexcess, an extraordinary nonprofit that rescues and redistributes surplus food nationwide. I’ve personally committed to 50 truckloads of food — that’s 1.5 million pounds, enough to feed 4,000 families for a full month.
But this crisis is far bigger than any one of us. We need your help right now.
$1,290 sponsors one truckload of food — 30,000 pounds — enough to feed more than 80 families for a month.
Please join me in filling the gap during this critical time. Every truck, every dollar, every act of generosity matters. Thank you for your compassion and your willingness to step up when it matters most. ❤️🙏
