The Israeli military killed six Palestinians, including a baby, who were in a school that sheltered displaced people in Gaza City. The attack brings the number of Palestinians killed by Israel to 401 since the October ceasefire took effect. trib.al/VqeYpOe

Israelis are “massacred” whilst Palestinians have “lost their lives”….you can’t even afford them humanity even in this statement, disgusting
My statement on the Israel-Hamas ceasefire.
![After months of devastating bloodshed and countless lives lost, this is the long-overdue news that the Israeli and Palestinian people have desperately been waiting for. They have borne the brunt of this conflict – triggered by the brutal terrorists of Hamas, who committed the deadliest massacre of Jewish people since the Holocaust on October 7th, 2023.
The hostages, who were brutally ripped from their homes on that day and held captive in unimaginable conditions ever since, can now finally return to their families. But we should also use this moment to pay tribute to those who won’t make it home – including the British people who were murdered by Hamas. We will continue to mourn and remember them.

I worry about the general lack of curiousity or interest in how / why things came to be, or the individual or institutional conviction and effort to actually make things happen. Bc if you dont care about those things, they 100% will be replaced in your life by authorless AI slop.

The heroes at Forensic Architecture have mapped Israel's every move in Gaza and found what's going on: "a deliberate effort to render the territory incapable of supporting life." Every state arming Israel is, simply and literally, an enemy of life.
NEW: ‘A Cartography of Genocide’. Since October 2023, we have collected and analysed data related to Israel’s military campaign in Gaza. Our findings indicate that Israel has systematically targeted all aspects of civilian life. tinyurl.com/bdcrnzka

Labour are somehow going harder on disabled benefit claimants than the Tories did.
Such a complete lack of humanity.
Some of their proposals:
• Forcing claimants IN HOSPITAL to have interviews
• Bank account monitoring
• Cutting PIP entirely for vouchers
• Cutting bus passes
• Increasing sanctions
• Amending assessments to lower successful mental health claims
And because they're not Tory plans, many people won't say a thing.

"an NHS with a country attached to it" is such an interesting phrase in how it reveals the assumed purpose of the British state to be something other than what the NHS does, which is helping its citizens live better lives
Britain risks becoming ‘an NHS with a country attached’, Wes Streeting warns
‘If we keep on assuming we spend ever increasing amounts of taxpayers money on the NHS it will overwhelm the public sector, dwarf other areas of government spending and we will end up with an NHS with a country attached to it
‘Very penny that is wasted is a penny that could have gone into housing, or early years education, or poverty reduction measures’

Blair is speaking, as he increasingly does, irresponsibly & without understanding. Grenfell was not the result of 'mistakes', but fraud by manufacturers, complicity by testing bodies, dereliction of safety duty by architects & construction companies, and inaction by politicians.
Tragedies like Grenfell cannot be completely avoided, says Sir Tony Blair trib.al/dqLel5y
