Ice skating is how the Nealey group has its last hurrah for 2023: shredding the ice with a view! Not pictured (unfortunately): our sick moves on the rink 💃🕺

A celebratory dinner for (Dr. Wang)^2, complete with "monogram" pecan pies custom made by our one and only advisor! Also a great chance to snap our latest group photos, including a silly one - guess which members didn't quite catch the "silly" memo in time for the photo 😛

The latest of the Nealey group oeuvre is hot off the presses 🔥 check out this new paper where we look at how different structural isomer side chains in one block of a block copolymer can exhibit dramatically noticeable changes in phase behavior!

The Nealey group potluck was not only a great way to enjoy the company of great scientific colleagues, but also to find out that our friends are equally talented in their kitchens - a roaring success on all counts! 🧑‍🔬🧑‍🍳

Researchers at UChicago’s Pritzker Molecular Engineering developed a “mix and match” platform for self-assembling semiconductors. The new approach, published in Nature Materials, creates patterns on the nanometer scale—smaller than commercial transistors. ow.ly/XiAt50LAo9n

The newest paper out of the Nealey group is out! We are very proud of the work accomplished here, and this 🧵 from @whitneysloo sums it up very nicely. Well done to everyone involved in this collaborative and rewarding effort!
it's finally here!! very excited to share our latest work out in @NatureMaterials on the design and synthesis of A-b-(B-r-C) copolymers for lithographic applications! huge shoutout to @GroupNealey & @StuartJRowan for their leadership nature.com/articles/s41563-0…

Also very scary for Halloween: imagining a Nealey group without Whitney 🙀🎃
crazy to think I have just ONE MONTH left as a postdoc with @GroupNealey don't know what makes this halloween scarier: papers that need to be written or the house that needs to be packed

Imagine camouflage that automatically blends in with your background or a sensor that changes color when exposed to volatile compounds. New work in blue phase liquid crystals takes a step toward making this tech a reality. pme.uchicago.edu/news/creati… @GroupNealey @JuandePablo6
