Happy Easter to all. Gardening focus again tomorrow (Tuesday 2nd April) down at The Sheds between 10.00 - 3.00. Don't forget to bring some lunch if staying all day, tea/coffee available. Sheds will be open for all even if not interested in the gardening ... see you there.
We are crowdfunding for a new roof over our main workshop ... any pledges would help us to continue delivering activities to reduce social isolation and loneliness in adults over the age of 18. spacehive.com/a-roof-over-ou…

I had the privilege of meeting Shedders from the Royal British Legion and my local constituency, Chorley to hear about the importance of support from Men's Sheds and the impact that the support and skills has had on their own health and wellbeing.

Our Ian was fabulous on BBC Radio Lancashire this morning explaining benefits of "Men's Sheds" and explaining what we do at Chorley Sheds that is open to men and women.

COMING TO A UK PARLIAMENT NEAR YOU
On Monday 18th March UK Men’s Sheds Association will open the doors of The Parliament Shed to promote Men's Sheds in an event we are calling 'Sheds in Parliament' at Portcullis House.💂♀️
We will be joined by our Ambassadors, experts and partners to celebrate #MensSheds as we enter our eleventh year and work to develop stronger relationship with Government and politicians across the political spectrum to support Sheds in your communities.
We are 60% there, can you help us reach our target by sharing our campaign and making a pledge for as little as £2.

Gardening on Tuesday between 10.00 - 2.00. Drop in if you are interested, tea & biscuits available. Sheds will be open for all, so do pop in if you want to find out what we do. Hopefully see some of you there.
We are currently running an "Introduction to Woodworking" course funded by Chorley Council, that we hope to run on a regular basis. It would be nice not to dodge the drips. We could hope for no rain, but believe a new roof would be the best option!
