With 1 week to go before #LondonMarathon I enjoyed a 45-minute easy-paced cross country run this afternoon. 🏃‍♂️ Spring scenery and weather helped get me in the mood. 🌱 Excited to be attempting a @GWR to support @AgainstMalaria at @LondonMarathon. 😊 #running #charity

Really pleased with today's efforts. An unexpected decision led me to Maldon where I finished first at @Maldonparkrun then ran 16¼ easy-paced miles along the Blackwater Estuary. 🏃‍♂️ Great way to start April. I even enjoyed the windy, muddy and wet conditions. 🤔 #parkrun #training

I wanted to challenge myself today on a day off work. So I ran this local hill up & down (≈630m) 39 times! Covered 18½ miles in just over 2½ hours. 🏃🏻‍♂️ Shame about chaffing but stayed mentally strong. 💪🏻 Pleased with steady, easy pace. @AgainstMalaria #LondonMarathon #training

Finished my week by comfortably running 10⅘ miles (50 miles for the week). 🏃‍♂️ My training for #LondonMarathon is making me stronger and I feel as though I'm recovering quickly from the longer workouts. Still excited to run as #MosquitoMan for @AgainstMalaria in 4 weeks. 🦟

Enjoyed a rest day from running by volunteering at @chelmsparkrun this morning. Supported the set up of the event then marshalled. Felt great to clap 👏🏻 and cheer, encouraging all the local runners & walkers as they passed by. #loveparkrun #volunteerEssex @ActiveEssex

Made most of a day off work by running 20⅕ miles through local villages + along river trail (in under 2 hrs 45 mins). 🏃🏻‍♂️ Despite wind & showers I enjoyed the mud & sunny spells. Felt strong 💪🏻 & maintained quality hydration throughout. 💦 #LondonMarathon @AgainstMalaria

Covered a marathon distance this weekend over 2 runs: 16 miles on Saturday & 10¼ miles on Sunday. 🏃🏻‍♂️ Sore legs now but felt strong. Still more long runs to conquer before #LondonMarathon - only 5 weeks to go! 💪🏻 Can't wait to run as Mosquito Man for @AgainstMalaria. 👍🏻 #UKRunChat
