Addressing this issue now that account access has been regained: yes, the Grifters inscriptions are CC0. Anything else would compromise the primary intent of the project. We briefly considered a performance art campaign over intellectual property rights; however, the controversy surrounding the mint was enough for us at the time. But feel free to hit us up if you want to plan an elaborate April Fool’s prank 😂

BIP-110: Another Bitcoin grift bites the dust. While we value low-IQ participation as an essential part of the bitcoin ecosystem, seeing the delusional aftermath of this one makes us wonder if this time the grift went too far. Grifters gonna grift.

Update: it appears that the large mining pools have colluded to turn Bitcoin from money into a toxic data dumping ground by executing a secret hardfork against the Bitcoin node network. The community is working on proposal for a proof-of-work change to fire the miners.

With the Coldcard scandal, we have outlasted another Bitcoin Grifter. Surely there are more. Not your keys, not your coins. Without true RNG and privacy, it’s not your key. Open source systems verified by third parties are the best you can do without getting into the weeds.
