There has been an ongoing debate about the effectiveness of microgrids in hotels. Recent advancements in microgrid technology, as demonstrated by the success of the Gridscape Microgrid at the SpringHills Suites,have provided a compelling argument for the importance of microgrids.
In 2023, a significant 84% of the new power capacity in the US is expected to come from clean energy sources. This figure demonstrates the increasing reliance on solar, wind, nuclear, & grid batteries for power generation. In fact, batteries will overtake gas for the first time.
Gridscape has successfully completed its first major INDUSTRIAL MICROGRID deployment at Denali's Imperial Western Products (IWP) facility in California. This project, made possible with the support of the California Energy Commission's grant program. #gridscape #cleanenergy

It looks like charging demand is not just going to come from cars but soon a considerable chunk of this will come from heavy vehicles. Electrification of highways is inevitable, it is the only way we can tackle the enormous load coming our way.
