What?! NC in DC! So good to catch up with my brother, Dr. Henry McKoy. This brother is doing Substantial things as Senior Advisor to U.S. Under Secretary for Science and Innovation. Not every day I get to sit down with a Presidential appointee. Salute Dr. McKoy!
Thrilled to be here in D.C. representing the @ncsugradschool at the 2024 Emerging Researchers National #ERN Conference. Love that the focus is on college and university undergrad and grad students especially underrepresented minorities and persons with disabilities. – at Washington, DC

I am beyond honored and grateful to receive this year’s East Carolina University Laura Marie Leary Elliott Courageous Leader Award and be recognized alongside two other outstanding Pirate alums. What this award stands for and who it’s named after makes it all the more special.
