Matthew 7:3–5 (NIV):
“Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.”

Jesus was never a religious figure. He was a pure spiritual being. Because of His spiritual nature, He bypassed every religious gatekeeper and every institutional barrier. He moved in a level of divine connection that made the religious system unnecessary, and that is exactly why they wanted Him dead. His life exposed that their authority was not needed.What Jesus demonstrated is that you do not need to belong to a group, a denomination, or a religious institution to connect to God. 💖
Modern luxury is the ability to live quietly. No drama. No noise. No pretending to be someone you are not. Just living a low-key life that actually feels like yours. Reading good books. Listening to music. Staring at walls. Going for walks. Watching classic movies. Working on your purpose. Thinking about life and all. Feeling joy in ordinary things. Just that. That is peace.

I get blown away every time I read this paragraph by Carl Jung:
“To love someone else is easy, but to love what you are, the thing that is yourself, is just as if you were embracing a glowing red-hot iron: it burns into you and that is very painful. Nobody is ahead of you. People do what they know best. So, don't copy. Your are in a different race. You do you. With your real original self, thoughts, ideas, philosophy, your gift, your idiosyncrasies. The only thing that matters is what you do with what you have.
Very little in this world is actually disturbing you, it’s your mind that is disturbing you.
The whole world is happening in your mind.
Not physically, but in commentary.
You have an internal mental representation of the world in your mind.
You are interacting with that representation.
When the mind says - "they should not do something like that, that's unacceptable."
It's your mind alone that is commenting on reality.
Nothing is actually disturbing you but your own thoughts.
Be still and know they have no power.
Train your mind to pause and observe, not react. Not every thought needs attention. Not every emotion needs a response. Give yourself a moment. Breathe. Pause and watch what’s happening inside you. The pause creates space between what you're feeling and what you choose to do next. And that space is where self-control lives.
