Thankful for Lottie Moon’s legacy.
Woman's Missionary Union (WMU)@NationalWMU1 Sep 2024
On this day 151 years ago, Lottie Moon sailed for China. At 32 years old, Lottie was appointed as a missionary by the then-called FMB on July 7, 1873, and she sailed for China on Sept. 1, 1873. Today, her missions legacy continues on through @IMB_SBC and WMU to the glory of God.

Stop by the Global Mission Center and check our new visual way to learn, pray, and consider going. “The history of missions is the history of answered prayer. It is the key to the whole mission problem. All human means are secondary.” ~ S. Zwemer – at New Orleans, LA

Reflecting this morning on shared leadership. I’m exceedingly grateful to serve on an elder team alongside @georgerossNOLA & @joshdurnell. We’ve all got a long way to go, but they are consistent models of holding onto Jesus above all else as we pursue his kingdom @lakeshorenola

Spent this weekend at the debriefing for return @ntp52 students. Appreciate the vision & passion of Jess (@NOBTS grad) & Wendy Jennings In 20 years, NT has sent 4000+ students to the nations. Love their motto: “Leading students to finish the Great Commission in this generation”

1st time @Dollywood. A great day and an awesome park, but major bummer that multiple rides were down for multiple hours and times though out the day. That’s a 1st in all the amusement parks I’ve visited. Hope it’s a blip on an otherwise nice park!

Some of the faces from this past week! The SBC is a whirlwind of business, connection, and meetings. A lot was discussed and a lot was accomplished. On the whole, always come out encouraged with our convention and this year is no different. #SBC24
