Grateful to be a trustee of an institution that honestly reflects on its history in light of Scripture’s standards and with the resources of the Gospel; lament, repentance, and celebration. @WheatonCollege
According to the report, Wheaton embraced racist attitudes that “created an inhospitable and sometimes hostile campus environment for persons of color.”

Grieved and angered by this racist and anti-immigrant posturing by someone who claims to follow Christ.
Trump’s judge is not only hostile, but also a Jamaican immigrant with no understanding of true American patriotism or love of country.
Immigrants should not be put in positions of authority- because they will always rule against the “racist” countrymen.
Soon, this will be the future for all of us who oppose this communist takeover.
This is a fantastic book!
Revival starts when people pray together.
Carolyn Carney's book is a beacon that reminds us of the power of intercession.
As we pray for campuses all over the world who are coming back this fall, let us remember the importance of prayer!

When you read a book and think, “She must be an excellent teacher!” Both books explore what it means to be human, what it means to be God’s people, and what it means to witness, worship, and work in the world. Wise, funny, and grounded. Loved these books. @carmenjoyimes @ivpress
So thankful to be included on @byronborger’s list! And what an amazing list of books about books and reading!

I am really proud of this post using data from @ReligionCensus about the number of houses of worship (HoW) in the United States.
I've always just assumed that there are too many churches in America. But this data made me question that.

Argument #246 against Christian nationalism. The Bible has a word for a person who claims to embody divine and political authority: Anti-Christ! It is "anti," or against Christ, because Christ alone is King of kings and our Great High Priest.
Carolyn is a prayer leader whose faith in God and sensibility in training make her a delight and a gift.
What if we prayed more together about things that really mattered? Hear more from our latest episode with Carolyn Carney.

The challenge of (and to) hope.
It reminds me a bit of the Flannery O’Connor line (and @SteveTaylorTPF song) “It’s harder to believe than not to.”
Grateful for these wise and challenging words from @esaumccaulley.

A good book by a friend--understands identity biblically, with a framework of image-bearing and idolatry. buff.ly/3FeF9DA
