Hot weather so windows open at night. Yet house not overwhelmed with insects. I miss insects.

Nerdy car dream satisfied today when I finally got my first poke around in a Toyota Crown. Awesome.

My grass is certainly nice and green for this time of year.

Was very excited to see @FloellaBenjamin at the coronation. Such wonderful memories from my childhood 40 years ago. Brilliant to see her continuing to be such a force for good in the world.

Looks like I’ve started #NoMowMay with the rewards of a no mow April. May need to sharpen the mower blade in June.

I have always suspected that a jacked up estate is the perfect do-everything car. This week I’m driving a brand new V90 Cross Country (mild hybrid petrol) . Massively disappointing so far. (mainly the steering and gearbox - neither of which were a problem with the fwd diesel)

Day 1 of PV generation. Felt a tiny bit smug until I got home, plugged in the car, put on the oven and the kettle and realised at this time of year I need to tell myself that every little helps.

Don’t remember Citroen BX being that small. My father had three. E Reg beige basic one. G Reg posher one and a K Reg ‘sporty’ one.

Sometimes it’s nice to climb the hill to simply be at the top... not just for the blast back down.

What’s with McDonald’s bias to Northerners then? My nearest opening McDonald’s is an hours drive NORTH!

I tried to buy a couple of new bikes today but no stock as cycling is the only thing some people are doing. I guess I’ll try again in a few weeks. ☹️
