This is admittedly a bizarre email.
DOJ has been pushing to reassign Judge Biery from future proceedings in the case of Liam Ramos, the 5 year old who was detained by ICE in Minnesota and sent with his father to Texas before Biery ordered his release.
The 5th Circuit just granted public access to the docket in the case, reveaing this email from Biery to the lawyers in the case a few days after his memorable decision. This email, DOJ argued, suggests Biery can't be impartial.

Can AG James Remain Impartial?
Gov. Kathy Hochul has appointed NY AG Letitia James to take over the Cornell alleged rape case. Hochul said this would “ensure that the matter is fully and thoroughly investigated without conflict or bias.”
And yet 3 days ago James issued the statement below, which made evident she believed the 7 men were guilty.
Is it possible for James to remain impartial having already declared the following?

If the woman is a “survivor” in James’ eyes, that means she was raped.

NEW RULE: Stop presumptively declaring people to be "victims" when their victimhood, or lack thereof, is precisely what is in dispute.
Short-circuiting the entire fact-finding and legal process, and assigning the "victim" label at first blush, explains a lot about why everybody has gone so berserk over this shit.

Let’s put aside the fact that the Haaretz article makes clear Netanyahu didn’t pass along the warnings of a potential attack to security officials .. which invalidates this absurd conspiracy theory.
But what exactly is the argument here: that Bibi and the IDF leadership not only knew about the 10/7 attack, but knew where it would be directed … and did nothing. Even for a rape denialist this is a new low.
It’s crucial to remember that the Nova music festival was supposed to end on Friday, October 6, but the organizers reached out to the IDF to get permission to extend it for an extra day. We know that warnings were everywhere at that point, yet the IDF approved the extension and added no security.
Now we know, from new reporting in Haaretz, that Netanyahu had explicitly been warned 10 days earlier that Hamas was planning an “earthquake” of an attack.
