Greenside FC 🟢⚪️

West Road Tavern 1 - 6 Greenside We made the short trip to Prudhoe this morning & ran out comfortable winners in the end after some early pressure. Some great stuff played by the lads 💚🤍💚🤍

GAME OFF ❌ 💨 🌪️

Tomorrow we are in league action as we make the short trip over the water to Newburn Leisure Centre to face Throckley Union Jack, looking to continue our recent good form 💚🤍 🆚 Throckley UJFC 🏆 League 🏟️ NE15 8ND 📆 25/10/26 ⏰ 10:30ko

Greenside 8 - 0 Waldridge Another clinic, professional performance today as we continued our good form & booked our place in the next round of the North West Durham Cup. 💚🤍💚🤍

We're in cup action again this week as host Waldridge FC in the North West Durham Cup. Looking to make it 5 wins on the spin & carry on our good start in a competition we won a few year ago 💚🤍 🆚 Waldridge FC 🏆 NWD Cup 🏟️ NE40 4SR 📆 11/10/26 ⏰ 10:30ko

Greenside 27 - 2 Lemington Comrades Very clinical performance today racing into a 14-1 lead at half time and continuing that into the 2nd half. Couple of sloppy goals conceded when it turned into soccer aid late on. Credit to Lemington for seeing the game out 💚🤍💚🤍

Another cup game this Sunday as we host Lemington Comrades in the Doug Matthewson Presidents Cup, looking to progress to the next round 🤞🏻💚🤍 🆚 Lemington Comrades 🏆 Doug Matthewson Presidents Cup 🏟️ NE40 4SR 📆 4/10/26 ⏰ 10:30ko

Greenside 6 - 2 Hexhamshire We ran out convincing winners today in a repeat of last weeks league fixture, this time in the league cup. Another strong start with a couple of early goals set us on our way & could've had more if we were clinical. Into the 🎩 for the next round 💚🤍

Greenside 5 - 0 Hexhamshire Much better performance again this week from the lads, racing into another 3-0 lead at half time. Didn't take our foot off the gas second half either & put in a complete performance, topped off with a clean sheet 💚🤍

This Sunday we have our first home game of the season after back to back away games to start off, as we look to build on last weeks win in the cup 💚🤍 🆚 Hexhamshire 🏆 League 🏟️ NE40 4SR 📆 20/9/26 ⏰ 10:30ko

Vulcan 2 - 5 Greenside After racing into a 4-0 lead before half time we took our foot off the gas a bit second half. Much better showing than last Sunday though & more importantly into the hat for the next round 🏆💚🤍

On Sunday we make the short trip to Axwell View to face our neighbours from the Vulcan in the first round of the North West Durham cup, looking to make amends for Sunday gone 💚🤍 🆚 Winlaton Vulcan 🏆 NWD Cup 🏟️ NE21 6NF 📆 13/9/26 ⏰ 10:30ko

Allendale 4 - 2 Greenside Went ahead early but deservedly beaten in the end by a well organised side that worked harder than us. Few bodies missing that would've made a difference but that's no excuse, need to do better.

Tomorrow we start our league campaign as new members of the Hexham & District Sunday League with a canny hike up to Allendale, hoping to get off to a strong start 🤞🏻💚🤍 🆚 Allendale FC 🏆 League 🏟️ NE47 9EQ 📆 6/9/26 ⏰ 10:30ko
