I marvel at how often & in so many different ways #BBCQT makes so many questionable editorial decisions. There is a by election happening in north London exactly 1 week after this show but only 1 of the 2 leading parties is represented here. How is this remotely fair or balanced?
This week, join Question Time in North London
On the panel: Miatta Fahnbulleh, Julia Lopez, Suella Braverman, and Oli Dugmore
Thursday 1st October, 9pm on @BBCiPlayer, @BBCSounds, and the @BBCNews channel, 10:40pm on @BBCOne

She's a 94 year old Jewish human rights lawyer.
She's been arrested under terrorism legislation for opposing genocide.
The least we can do is to listen.
A 94 year old terrorist?

The sight of pensioners being handcuffed for holding up signs opposing genocide is a stain on this country.
Hundreds of Labour MPs trooped through the voting lobbies to approve it.
Not Green MPs or peers. Greens stand by our principles.
We say: deproscribe Palestine Action.
Zack Polanski has called for Palestine Action to be de-proscribed.
It was met with huge applause from the audience at the party conference in Brighton.

There is so much at stake at this election.
Real hope looks like action.
Rent controls, nationalising Thames Water and no to fossil fuels.
Here's an update on how it's going!

OUTRAGEOUS scenes outside the Labour Party Conference in Liverpool yesterday! But it’s nothing new...
In the UK, OVER 3,500 people have been arrested, with MORE THAN 2,250 formally charged under TERROR LAWS for PEACEFULLY PROTESTING the ban on Palestine Action. How many more will it take for the government to stop misusing terror laws?
There is a chance for the new Prime Minister to stop this absurdity. Protest has always been part of British culture. It makes our communities more RESILIENT, our government more RESPONSIVE and our society more INCLUSIVE – share this video if you agree!

Good to see Foreign Secretary presenting findings of the suppressed Joint Intelligence Report on ecosystem collapse to other governments.
But when is it going to be shared with the rest of us? It should be published in full

I can’t remember being more disappointed by any politician. @andyburnham needs to abolish the House of Lords. It’s a vector for corruption. Because that’s what this is. A pay-to-play capture of a UK lawmaker by Silicon Valley’s worst firm.

Palantir have just bought themselves a Labour Lord with close links to the Labour government.
No other word to describe this other than corruption.
How can Watson remain a member of the House of Lords and keep the Labour whip?

🚨Breaking - @TUC for the first time backs Palestinian-led boycott divestment and sanctions movement (@BDSmovement) at conference today in Brighton. Trade unions call to escalate action in the workplace to end the complicity of companies, institutions and the government in Israel’s crimes against the Palestinian people.

🗣 @ZackPolanski: "Drilling for new oil and gas is only going to create more wildfires, more flooding, more drought, more food scarcity. To describe that as 'pragmatic' is frankly perverse."
Andy Burnham must stop making things worse. He must leave fossil fuels in the ground.

Why is @BBCr4today so allergic to interviewing Palestinians? Or as in the days of Lord Balfour are they still considered expendable savages by @BBCNews? @JustinOnWeb the wonderfully articulate Palestinian writer Raja Shehadeh is in Scotland today to give his archive to Edinburgh University. Surely the perfect balance for this story which you have so far managed to cover without any reference to its beleaguered victims?
The interview of @Ed_Miliband conducted by @JustinOnWeb on @BBCr4today this morning, even for Webb, struck a new low. Using the disgraceful remarks of @chiefrabbi as a lever, he effectively suggested Miliband wasnt Jewish because he didn't attend synagogue. The entire treatment of the issue by the programme was appalling. Soft soap interview of the Israeli spokesperson who was not challenged on the ICJ judgement on the illegality of the occupation, nor on the active support of the Israeli Government for settler violence. Central frame of Miliband interview was antisemitism, safety of British Jews alongside the expected Pro Israel talking points( you can't enforce a ban- why not wait until after the elections?). Astonishingly at the end he challenged Miliband on why he didn't use the word genocide. When Miliband gave his inadequate answer, that this had to be determined by the ICJ, of course Webb didn't say what he could have.." given the ICJ has accepted the plausibility of South Africa's case, will the UK be taking further action, as it is obliged to do , to prevent genocide". Instead he threw at him Simon Schama's grotesque line that anyone who accuses Israel of genocide is guilty of a blood libel, a premiss that would make Israel uniquely protected from ever being investigated for the crime whatever the evidence. 2 days of coverage of the issue as the main story on Today ... not a single interview with a Palestinian... not a single interview with anyone who supports the action but feels it does not go anywhere near far enough .

The government’s action on illegal Israeli settlements is long overdue, but action must go much further.
The UK must stop supplying arms to Israel, including F-35 components, and end its complicity in the genocide.

This government is still sitting on parts of a buried report that lays bare catastrophic risks facing us from ecosystems collapse.
My message to @andyburnham today: tell the truth.
Release the report in full. And prepare the country for what's coming.

We are deeply alarmed by the disturbing reports of #HussamAbuSafiya being subjected to continued beatings, deliberate sleep deprivation, and threats against divulging his detention conditions while in Israeli custody.
Israeli authorities must immediately and unconditionally release Dr. Abu Safiya and all Palestinians arbitrary detained. Pending Dr. Hussam’s release, the Israeli Prison Service must ensure he is fully protected from abuse, granted urgent adequate and independent medical care and allowed immediate visitation by independent monitors.
