A river canโt be saved through photoops & clean up drives alone. With 200 million litres of sewage flowing untreated into the Yamuna daily, citizens canโt fix what governments fail to prevent. River needs accountability, enforcement & clean water flows, not just campaigns!
๐ง๏ธ Investing in disaster risk reduction isnโt just common sense.
Itโs sound economics: it saves lives, protects livelihoods, and reduces the spiraling costs of disasters.

How does the natural world respond to global warming? Humans, meanwhile, tend to think of eliminating whatever they find unpleasant.
Is that the right approach?

Firecrackers all around Delhi NCR.
Breathing has turned Hazardous.
Your Lordship, the effigy & crackers burn for minutes but the toxic air stays with our children for hours & days.
Is this really a festival of victory?

An absolutely outstanding, rare mixtape from the man like Rider. 90 minutes of old skool hardcore and early jungle, I believe this is later 92. No tracklist.

I don't know how much more concise and concrete you can make your case. I'm totally in agreement. Maybe you could try broadening your reach? Get some new followers? Write to some politicians??? Dunno.
Nature is not a resource.
Itโs the operating system of life.
When we destroy forests, wetlands, and oceans, we delete our own survival code.
Protect ecosystems = protect ourselves.

Discover how we are using agroforestry to drive climate action, environmental sustainability and fight against food insecurity. Agroforestry turns farms into climate solutions: trees pull COโ from the air, protect crops from extreme weather, enrich the soil, and help farmers grow more food with fewer inputs. Nature-based climate action that works. #Agroforestry #ClimateSmart

Discover how we are using contour ploughing, intercropping to drive climate action, environmental sustainability and fight against food insecurity. Contour ploughing slows water runoff and cuts soil erosion, while intercropping boosts yields, improves soil fertility, and builds farm resilience. Together they protect the land and grow more food in a changing climate. #ClimateSmartAg #FoodSecurity

Trees = Carbon sinks + Natural fertilizer + Water retention + Biodiversity corridors.

Extinction is forever.
There will always be two types of humans, those who take and those who protect. This human dicotomy has shaped history. Each side's favor will continue to shift as it has throughout history; we change laws, regulate fishing, and fight to restore populations as their numbers decline.
But we can only hope the balance holds long enough to save what remains. Because once a species is gone, no law, no effort, and no amount of regret can bring it back. Extinction is forever.

Some flowers bloom for just a single night.
The giant saguaro cactus of the Sonoran Desert produces large white flowers that open after sunset and attract bats, moths, bees, and birds for pollination through the night. By the next afternoon, the blooms wilt and close for good.
