Beginning Monday, Cedar Lake Parkway will be closed between the tunnel construction area and Xerxes Ave S for approximately one week. Trail users crossing the rail corridor at the temporary pedestrian overpass will be routed to West 28th St via the alley west of Xerxes Ave.

Starting Tuesday, May 30, Wooddale Avenue between 36th Street West and Highway 7 South Frontage Road will be closed for approximately 5 weeks for @GreenLineExtMN work. Once the roadway reopens, lane closures will be in place into July. Wayfinding signs will be placed prominently.

Wednesday’s Council action paves the way for future phases of the project, including systems construction and operational testing and logistics needed prior to launching service. Project leaders and the contractor have been reordering the milestones remaining on the project.
