For over a year the UK govt has taken no serious action as the US and Israel flouted intl law with impunity.
Despite it becoming increasingly clear our inaction has only emboldened the two nations, the govt still refuse to condemn the illegal US/Israeli strikes on Iran.

We should be able to experience the joy of paddling or swimming in nature without serious health risks. But water companies with monopolies continue to pump sewage into our lakes, with no repercussions. It's time to give up on this failed privatisation experiment

Work to tackle sewage pollution and agricultural pollution must go hand in hand if we are to truly clean up our waterways - that means both taking water companies into public ownership and supporting farmers to transition to river-friendly farming methods.
Residents in South Tonbridge may experience water shortages as @sewateruk work to replenish supplies and begin pumping again tomorrow morning.

⚠️ Blue-green algae confirmed at Haysden Water, Tonbridge. Although naturally occurring it can be harmful to humans and is very toxic to dogs. In people it can cause rashes, sickness, vomiting and diarrhoea. If ingested, it can kill pets. Avoid the water until further notice.
