A lovely end to the day…a real pleasure to meet @e_balatsou - one of our #studyukalumniawards winners - and to learn about @GirlsWhoCode and their fab initiatives. Looking forward to finding opportunities to work together. @AAndritsou sorry you missed the photo! @BritishCouncil

Last day of the week today and election day in Greece. So I thought I'd leave you with a few of my favourite quotes as inspiration.
It is very exciting to see little children grasping mathematical, engineering, or coding concepts through toys, without the "this is hard" baggage.
I also absolutely love books such as this. Because #coding doesn't always require a computer.
The other day we started a discussion on how to make Maths fun. Well, luckily, there are lots of toys that introduce children (or adults 😉 ) into engineering and computer science projects without them even realising.
And my personal favourite of course is @LEGO_Group . Nothing like trying to build your favourite toy for an introduction on how to read drawings.
Also, think about how mamy things we depend on compiters for in our daily lives. If you can control computers you can do anything.
