Just as I expected: organizers of the annual Nakba Day march, originally scheduled to take place in the depopulated village of Kafr Sabt, were forced to cancel the march, after police demanded that no Palestinian flags would be waved and the attendance will be limited to 700 people.
The police stated they would raid the event in order to enforce the conditions, which, in practice, meant their plan is to break up the event and assault attendees.
Expect for twice during the Covid pandemic, this is the first time since 1998 that the Nakba Day march is cancelled.
