December 15th, traded to Milwaukee, and it hit. I stopped talking to my agent. I told him, don’t text me for 3 weeks, I don’t want to talk to you. Please Read/Retweet! Major Mistake by Topps on this card??
I purchased this 2024 Transcendent Seasons Acuna Auto /5 last week,
The back of the card states the Relics were given to them directly by Acuna himself,
And include his Batting Glove from the 40th HR of his 40-70 Season, and the Sliding Mitt from the 73rd SB of that same season.
However the 40th HR batting gloves were Auctioned by Goldin on 4/25/26 and therefore it would be impossible for them to be in this card,
Additionally, the card states SB 73 happened on 9/27/23 when in fact it was on 9/30/23. SB 70 was on 9/27 where he wore a Yellow sliding mitt. He wore a Pink one on 9/30 for SB 73 (doesnt match either relic)
I only purched the card because of the significance of the relics included and the language Topps used on the back. This feels like a MASSIVE issue to claim they are from something they are not?? Especially something as significant as his 40-70 season and in a product as significant/expensive as Transcendent.
Can anyone from Topps/Fanatics tell me what is going on here? Because trust in what they claim an item to be is all they have in this industry...
