Ever wonder what will happen when it starts to get sensory input? Like touch, taste, smell, hearing, sight?
The Magnetic Media Crisis — pending extinction of audio & video tapes — is not a wall.
Main symptoms: 1) rapid rise of transfer cost & 2) quality of transfers will go down.
Within 5-7 yrs it will be too expensive to be practical to transfer most tapes.
