#Padres season in a nutshell: Trent Grisham comes through in the clutch, but the core of the lineup can't score a run with the bases loaded and no outs against the worst team in the NL (who just traded away their best players).

Last year Garcia was lights-out. This year, you're nervous about him coming in with a seven-run lead. #Padres

As a longtime MVP Gold, I'd like to stay loyal to @AlaskaAir, but the pricing just doesn't work. SEA-RDM is usually around $50-70 on AS, but currently they're quoting $450 each way for a 228 mi flight? Instead I guess I'll fly DL at $70 each way for the same route/time.

Because Diaz comes in, #ESPN says: "No more runs can be scored if you're the #Padres." Huh?
I love baseball, and I've been a #padres fan since the early 90s, but it's depressing to watch this team, especially coupled with a bad two-game in-person experience at Petco Park this season. Of course your team won't always win, but it's supposed to be fun, right?
Really unfortunate that the #Padres have been facing Cy Young every night. Into the 6th, Cronenworth HBP is an offense highlight.

Sigh... @bendbroadband Internet just went down again - anyone else?

Baseball is incredible. (And all that off Max Scherzer!)

That was Camarena’s first hit, first home run, first RBIs and first run scored in his MLB career. He did it in front of his family in his hometown. Camarena is a San Diego native and was drafted out of Cathedral Catholic HS, about 20 miles north of Petco Park.

Well over three hours now, and still not a peep from @bendbroadband about what's going on nor an ETA to restore service. Horrible customer relations... Just having someone responding on Twitter would be a start.

It's more proof, in other words, that America isn't a republic where we are all equal before the law, but rather a caste system where inherited privileges determine how the law binds you, how it punishes you and how it protects you. 6/

From @EliasSports: Fernando Tatis Jr. has played 157 games–giving easy context to his statistics because that is just about one full season. Tatis Jr. has 45 HR, 106 RBIs, 29 steals. He is the only player in history who had at least 40 HRs, 100 RBIs, 20 SBs over his 1st 162 games

If you get the chance, take the time to read this please. Took me time to want to open up about some stuff I went through but I felt like it was time to share some of my experiences this year. 💯

“I would have moments when I was in a hoodie, a hat, sweatpants, socks and a blanket, and I would be shivering like I was in 20-degree weather,” Nassir Little said. A look at the battles @2ez_nassie faced in 2020, including the scariest of all - COVID. theathletic.com/2296068/2021…

Blazers’ Nassir Little on way back after brutal bout with COVID-19 ‘hit me bad’

In a year in which every time he seemingly made progress, Little would encounter an obstacle. And for Little, 2020 saved its worst for last.

Two touchdown passes in the first half leaves him tied with Mayfield, with a second half and two more games to go.

Justin Herbert enters tonight's game against the Raiders with 25 touchdown passes, the 4th most by a rookie in NFL history. Herbert trails only Baker Mayfield (27 in 2018), Russell Wilson (26 in 2012) and Peyton Manning (26 in 1998).

Wow. Our local hospital system has been decimated financially by COVID, not at all benefitting.

Love roster flexibility - bring in skilled players that can play multiple positions...

I think that's kind of the plan with this roster - lot of guys can play two, three positions ... RoCo, Collins, Trent, Hood ...
