Moving ahead with the Vintage Air under-dash evaporator installation. Priority is installing the AC system so it looks as good as possible and runs dependably. Anything less won’t last in Vegas. Marty, the owner, won’t settle for less than perfection and prioritizes quality over cost. I take great pains to ensure everything functions flawlessly; perfection costs money.

The new parts situation is getting pretty bad. Bought a new Precision fuel pump and transfer pump for this 2019 Charger, but the lines were too short on the transfer pump so I had to pull it out and send it back. Fucking O'Reilly's and there cheap ass Chinese parts strikes again.

The big payouts drive the shark frenzy that follows. Ever notice that in any group of slot machines, one tends to pay while the rest eat? The formula is simple: have money in reserve to pay the jackpots, and the rest happens naturally.
In 1993 a Las Vegas casino owner named Robert Kraft watched his $1,000,000 reserve collapse to $340,000 in a single night. One player. One jackpot. $660,000 gone in 23 minutes. His accountants were already drafting closure papers. His mathematicians were not surprised at all. Robert had built his entire operation on a risk formula that predicted this exact moment years before it happened - and that formula was the only reason he reopened the next morning. Working Note No. 18 is the document that saved his casino. The formula that guaranteed his survival [Equation 1] - E[Pi] = N x B x h. Every wager feeds into one number - expected profit. At 5% house edge and $10 average bet across 200,000 wagers the math produces $100,000 in guaranteed long-term profit. What most owners never understand is that the math guarantees the direction, not the path. The path can drop $660,000 in one night and still be correct. What happened to that $340,000 over six months [Fig. 2] - The reserve dropped off a cliff at the jackpot event - exactly what Robert experienced. After the drop the line climbs back. Slowly. Relentlessly. Mathematically. By month six the reserve had grown to $1,400,000. The casino that looked dead in January was worth more in July than it had ever been. The payout structure that made the jackpot inevitable [Section 11] - Triple Seven hits once every 10,000 spins and pays 1000x the bet. Every losing spin funds the jackpot that eventually fires. Robert's $660,000 payout was not an accident - it was 10,000 players feeding money into a machine that was always going to pay someone that amount. He just happened to be open the night the counter hit zero. The reserve number that separates casinos that survive from ones that close [Equation 4] - Total volatility grows as the square root of wagers multiplied by variance per bet. A casino with too small a reserve hits zero before the math has time to work. Robert kept $1,000,000 in reserve because the formula told him the exact minimum buffer needed to survive the night the jackpot fired. Every casino that closed after a big payout simply did not hold enough to reach morning. What Robert told his risk team the day after - "The machine paid exactly what it promised. We built the reserve for exactly this moment. The only mistake a casino can make is being surprised by the math it already knew." This box Chevy fought me pretty hard. When it arrived, it ran like crap. Through sheer persistence I ferreted out all the gremlins keeping this Tuned-Port Corvette engine from being all it could be. Now it's smooth and precise. This client is going to be stoked.

This ’61 Pontiac Star Chief might not have active airfoils or the ability to hang upside down. It most certainly can’t jump over anything without causing major damage to the underside, but these floorboards are painted and as corrosion-resistant as they can be. In other news, cars can fly.

At Asshole’s Garage, there aren’t any flying cars. I just work on these old, antiquated relics of the ICE era. When I look at them, they look like anchors to the past, forever glued to the ground unless driven off a cliff. Asshole’s Garage is no longer a garage; it’s officially a cave where I chisel away and leave my marks so other cave dwellers have something with wheels to drive.

I don’t see any active airfoils on this Porsche, does it fly?
Anyone that is comparing the Tesla Roadster to the Porsche Mission S is a moron One of them is an actual car, the other is a prototype that you will never see on the streets Porsche is building a car that all car fanatics will obsess over and dream about for the next 10 years

The rules have been rewritten and the new rules appear to be that there are no rules. This roadster is a legend.

I bet this skeptic is scratching his head right now. Cars do fly, flip, jump, go inverted, and accelerate to 60 in 0.81 seconds.
There is zero chance this vehicle is going to fly - the physics of it are near impossible - so what are your actual expectations of today's unveil?
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Musk has discussed since 2018 how cold gas thrusters could allow the Roadster to fly short hops. At the October 15 event the prototype used them to become fully airborne for over 1 second. x.com/elonmusk/statu… techcrunch.com/2026/10/15/tes… polymarket.com/event/will-the…

It has been several months since I pulled the engine from this ’61 Pontiac Star Chief. Now it is back to be reassembled with love. Everything must be attended to during this restorative process for maximum durability and trouble-free service. Tomorrow I start by painting the floorboards with a rust-preventative coating. Today is a wrap.

Ilhan's is going to bring down the entire democratic party with her.🤣🤣🤣 Her husband Tim Mynett, entered into businesses with: Will Hailer, who served as SENIOR ADVISOR to the Democratic National Committee. and Alex Hoffman, who held senior FINANCE roles at the Democratic National Committee. Together they seem to be in the business of settling lawsuits? 🤣 Tim and Will's winery claimed they were unable to pay their winemaker and they were sued for not paying back the investor after they promised a..... TWO HUNDRED PERCENT RETURN!!! Mohd was seeking $780,000 in the lawsuit. A seperate lawsuit also contained allegations of fraud and ended with Tim and Will agreeing to pay $1.7 million to the three South Dakota marijuana entrepreneurs and investors. They really did the bare minimum in making it seem like these businesses were operational. They were raising hundreds of thousands of dollars from investors, failing to use the money on the business, then failing to pay back investors, then raising money from other investors? It's giving ponzi scheme. Also putting a wine business in the same area that Gavin Newsom has a winery and Nancy Pelosi has vineyard, makes it seem like Ilhan copied their strategies in a sloppy way.

Excited for the new iPhone 18. My 13 has a 12-megapixel camera and 3x zoom; the 18 has 48 megapixels and 4x. Bigger battery, more efficient and faster A20 chip, improved AI interface, more secure. It was costly, but soon I’ll have the most advanced Apple device in the palm of my hand. (The image looks terrible because it’s a 12 megapixel camera)
