I resigned from Anthropic today. I spent the last three years doing pretraining research at both OpenAI and Anthropic. Neither company is acting responsibly. They are racing straight to self-improving superintelligence and gambling with our lives. More thoughts below.
wish there was a way i can comfortably express my thoughts while genuinely feeling heard, and actually work towards something that feels meaningful, instead i put on the “everything’s okay, just accept this dystopian lifestyle and act like u enjoy it” mask everyday. so draining
i really wake up and act like the world isn’t ending then continue on with my day.
