Democrats fought to suspend the gas tax this past session and every single time we tried, Republicans blocked it. Democrats are about providing relief to ALL South Carolinians while Republicans want your pockets to bleed…

To anyone demanding unswerving loyalty to the "Republican" party in South Carolina, remember it was Democrat @SenRussellOtt and Democrat @JustinBamberg (the PEOPLE's rep) who first began beating the drum on the suspension of the Palmetto State's gas tax.
The only Republicans who have led on this from the very beginning are @AGAlanWilson and members of the @SCFreedomCaucus. Wilson proposed suspending the gas tax back in March and several other GOP elected officials followed suit.
Establishment Republicans - including @MurrellSmith, @BruceBannister and @SCHouseGOP - have not only failed to join this effort, they have actively blocked tax relief while approving hundreds of millions of dollars in wasteful pork barrel spending and crony capitalist subsidies.
You get what you vote for, South Carolina... choose accordingly this fall.

Sen. Darline Graham (R-SC) said Wednesday she's willing to "become informed on" new issues after she was asked about fumbling a question in the South Carolina GOP Senate debate, admitting she was "not that informed on national security” and neglecting to answer a question about Taiwan and the South China Sea.
Graham, who is currently filling the congressional seat of her late brother, Lindsey Graham, who was one of President Trump's top foreign policy advisers, told reporters “…any issue that I'm not informed on, I'm smart, I can always become informed on it."
