LA County Elections Officials tell a judge they tested a small sample (200) of the list of 20k registered CA voters the Trump administration says are non-citizens. 112/200 were not sent ballots 71.2% of the 200 have no voting history.

The precedent set by Biden DOJ and Judges Howell and Boasberg now looms large in the Omar matter. Howell and Boasberg—kicked back to him as new chief judge following a remand by DC circuit—determined that a large swath of phone records were not covered under Speech or Debate Clause related to his deliberations ahead of Jan 6 vote. Hard to see how any evidence collected off Omar’s phone in an immigration investigation would fall into the categories covered by DC courts 🤷‍♀️
