🆕 SerpApi quietly built its own search index.
Public in alpha since February, now in preview. 3.2B pages, small, no Google or proxies at query time.
Went finally public because its Reddit counterclaim says the Reddit–Google deal blocks it from competing in search

ChatGPT built its own search index : It has its own retrieval store, its own family of indexes, its own ranking stack, its own caching layer, and it's actively hiring to build out all of it … @TomekRudzki goes through it in this just read piece:

Meet a new, very promising AI Visibility Tracking Platform: Rankscale.ai by Mathias Ptacek, allowing to track your topics and queries visibility vs competitors across a variety of AI Platforms (OpenAI GPT-4o, Google Gemini, Perplexity, etc.) automatically, even at an hourly basis, which I have had the chance to test since a couple of days ago and it's 🔥
The tool also allows to run an AI Search Readiness validation through your site, providing feedback on content and citations! This is a completely spontaneous share given of how good it is, and would be awesome for you to give it a try, I know Mathias is looking for feedback and early adopters 🫡

Your blog posts and/or articles should *meet or exceed* user expectations based on query. They don't need a certain word count, or a link count... i.e. Understand what your audience needs help with, wants to learn, etc., and then publish a killer post about that. Don't go nuts doing keyword research, writing to a specific word count, and definitely don't think there needs to be some magical number of internal links and outbound links.
