"It's not like other castlevanias"
No shit, Sherlock. LoZ games hardly share the same game style as each other, why would Castlevania, a series that already has spinoffs that are wildly different styles, not continue making different games?
Gamers have become so gooner-brained that they literally cannot play a game with a subjectively attractive female lead without feeling the need to beat their shit like a piñata.

Marcus has less lines than every character in every game. Gears 3 is the game where he speaks the most and I still wouldn't be surprised if other characters had more lines than him. He's supposed to be the stoic, strong, silent type. The kind of character that when he decides to speak, you listen. And that is still the case in this game. I implore yu, please quit being willfully ignorant
Modding out flags you dont agree with is already dumb. Being mad at a separate company than the one that houses the mod is even more dumb.
Too Long; Can't Read: you dumb, crayon good yum.
Kinda interesting how Angry Joe keeps saying this game does not push an agenda, yet they keep removing mods that go against the agenda.
Also interesting how Angry Joe isn't upset about mods being removed.
At the end of the day what does it matter what someone enjoys on their offline single player game on their own PC?
How is it different than buying a book and then doodling on it only to have the crayon company saying you're not allowed to do it

We are currently elbow deep into the asshole trend of hating everything until we get nothing. Either the industry is going to collapse to these losers that hate this industry with a passion, or it will thrive off the people actually trying to enjoy these objectively good games.
I feel.bad for the GC because I bitch about some PC gaming issue every couple weeks because, Jesus fuck 1 thing goes wrong and I have to terminal command Microsoft store updates on windows 11 or attempt an update 3x just for some dumb bottleneck that shouldn't be an issue.

We are Lake Country Games LLC, the studio being publicly accused of copying Fish with Friends. We’d like to set the record straight with documented evidence.
October 5, 2026: SteamDB first recorded our game, Fish With Friends (App ID 5393000).
October 6, 2026: SteamDB first recorded Black Sea Studios’ game (App ID 5398190).
October 9, 2026: Black Sea Studios published a blog announcement mentioning its fishing game.
October 16, 2026: We privately provided dated development evidence to Black Sea Studios. Their representative acknowledged our evidence, admitted they had jumped to conclusions, apologized, and agreed to remove public accusations.
Their representative explicitly stated:
“I agree that your proof is undeniable since we have not posted anything publically prior to that date.”
Despite this resolution, posts labeling our game an “exact replica” and “AI SLOP” continue circulating, resulting in people directly contacting us with accusations of theft.
We developed our game independently. We did not steal or copy Black Sea Studios’ work.
Our Steam page simply received approval later. Being publicly listed first does not mean another developer copied your game.
We have formally requested removal and correction of these allegations.
We wish both studios success, but we will defend our work and reputation against unsupported accusations.
Publicly verifiable evidence:

"There are no pretty women in games anymore"
Literally, Rose Belmont existing right there on Optimus Prime's internet.
Let's be completely honest here:
If the gaming industry was solely made up of straight men making male power fantasies, the whole industry would have been too boring to carry on beyond the PS1.
Ninja Gaiden 2
Resident Evil 4, 5, 8, and Requiem
Castlevania: Mirrors of Fate and now Belmont's Curse (I'm actively forcing myself to try the others, don't @ me)
I read history books on any civilization I could get my hands on and understood the patterns leading up to either their collapse or prolonged existence as a kid up until college.
My teachers and professors NEVER mentioned religious, sexual, or political beliefs if their class had nothing to do with it. I studied other religions for fun. I enjoyed watching PBS cartoons and shows my whole life.
