I tried to get this finished a few days ago, ready for today's Holocaust Remembrance Day. I only managed to finish it this morning. It's a quote by Simon Wiesenthal, a Holocaust survivor. Hand engraved on a gold pin, 2mm wide.

Today, HONOR, China's biggest-selling mobile phone, issued the world's smallest apology to Samsung, as it prepares to unveil the HONOR Magic V3, the world’s thinnest inward-foldable smartphone. They asked me to engrave 806 letters on the titanium strip on the edge of the phone.

Just finished it! The names of 'The Hillsborough 97' engraved on a solid silver football stud. 1,272 letters that are 100 microns high. The same height as the thickness of a hair. Eight weeks to complete this.

Just finished! Engraved on a platinum pin measuring 2mm across. Fortunately, Her Majesty is very kind to artists, having kept the same hairstyle for the last 50 years. I'm quite pleased with this.

"Out of Darkness Cometh Light" - This is what the Wolverhampton Wanderers players see in the tunnel as they come onto the pitch. I've engraved it along the sharp edge of a razor blade. The Mayor of Wolverhampton is coming along to take a look at it, this weekend.

I'm feeling sorry for the opticians who will be closing down. If we want our eyes tested in future, there's no need to visit them. Just take a drive to Barnard Castle.

'The Pen Museum' engrave on the tip of a calligraphy pen-nib. In the 19th century, Birmingham was the world's biggest supplier of pen-nibs. The museum is certainly worth a visit. If you decide to go along, you'll see this... but the engraving on the tip is too small to see!

The smallest engraving in the world - Portrait of the artist JMW Turner, engraved on a 22ct gold disc in the hollowed out section of a dog's hair. I've engraved along the sharp edges of razor blades but this goes to another level.
