"...a colossal, nameless blasphemy with glaring eyes, holding in bony claws a thing that had been a man, gnawing at the head as a child nibbles candy. Its position was a kind of crouch, and as I looked I felt that at any moment it might drop its prey and seek a juicier morsel..."
NUCLEAR POWER (@NuclearPwrComic) by Desirée Proctor, @ericaharrell, & @ProtokittyArt is a cracking read. Post atomic world, mutants, strange powers, authoritarian regimes, and revolution, all in one handy volume!
I read The Boyfriend, by @SethMSherwood and Elisa “Pocci” Pocetta from @nakamapress over the weekend, and it was a real fun read. When Chloe's imaginary boyfriend turns out to be not so imaginary and linked to an old curse... Well worth a read.
So, does anyone have must-read recommendations for history books detailing the Golden Age of Piracy in the Carribean/West Indies? For reasons.
Today we said goodbye to Chelsea, the dog we adopted when we first came to the US. She reached the ripe old age of 16, survived cancer and all manner of slings and arrows, was loved immensely, and was the most loyal dog you could ever imagine. Her first and last day with us💔
One of the many things I love @SonataNocturne for writing. I know of more than a few places that would benefit from this way of thinking trenchcrusade.com/trench-wir…
A lovely review of the writing I did on the Carcass Front for @TrenchCrusade by @WargamerCom. This was an amazing project and it was wonderful to work with my old pals from the GW days (coincidentally, I worked on Codex: Necrons and Eye ofTerror too!).

Looking good, man!
So excited to start showing off a table top game myself and my friends have been working on! Thank you @CGTester for the epic voice work! So much more stuff coming over the next few months! Come check out the site!

With the Carcass Front Box now reaching the mud-stained hands of Faithful and Fallen alike, here's a glimpse behind the curtain where we talk about how it came together by the work of many, many supremely talented folk, and me. Getting to work with @SonataNocturne, Andy Chambers, and Jervis Johnson again was a real treat, so if you like your lore grim and dark, take a read...

Dan and Jim in the same place!? Run, don’t walk, to see them!
Reminder! I'll be appearing at @TheMonsterMerch with @VincentAbnett for MONSTER MANIA 2026 this weekend, talking sci-fi, #Warhammer & more - entry is free, full details below:
Dare you risk delving beneath the cursed sands of Nineveh Novus in @TrenchCrusade? What damnable secrets lie within ruins forsaken by Heaven and Hell? Text by me and art by Artem Demura...

Thank you so much! Getting to write a horror story in the vein of M.R. James and Algernon Blackwood was a real treat. I love me some good old hack & slash bolters and chainswords, but getting into the weeds behind the front lines is where we find the the real juice.
Replying to @jerckmeister
The Colonel’s Monograph by @GrahamMcNeill; I like my little soldier mans but god, stories in this setting are a thousand times more interesting if there’s no actual War being Hammered. Good stuff
For a double bill of loyalty, honour, betrayal, and bloodshed, you really ought to head to the Black Library App and check out Cadian Honour by @JHillAuthor and my own book, Storm of Iron.
Cadian Honour on sale at the Black Library App.
And so is @GrahamMcNeill's Storm of Iron!

Staying at mum’s and she dug out one of the posters I made of gig tickets of bands I went to see. Not too shabby, but, man, look at those prices!
Finished our rewatch of the Spartacus shows by @stevendeknight & @Liam_J_McIntyre, from Blood & Sand to House of Ashur. Gets better with every watch and the final shot of Andy Whitfield shouting, "I am Spartacus!" breaks me every time. Praying to the gods Ashur finds a new home!
