@hotukdeals
Someone really kind here on X (Twitter) ran a promo for me on HotUKDeals.
I checked it out and it was doing really well. Excited and overwhelmed, I commented on the promo.
They told me that counts as self promotion and took down the promo.

Busy making title pages for each chapter of Stone's Call, the sequel to Conqueror's City. It's too early in the process to do it really, I'll probably have to redo most of them, but once they're done, it'll really start to feel like a book to me 😊

As someone who regularly has to resort to a thesaurus to remember words. that. I. use. every. damn. day. I’m loving the energy in this thread 😂😂😂
First draft of the sequel to Conqueror’s City is finally coming together ☺️ Still a few chapters to write and A LOT of editing to do but definite progress 😎

Monday, Greenland. Tuesday, Papua New Guinea. Wednesday? Kosovo and Mexico.
Out of an audience of Australia, New Zealand, Europe & North America, why Kosovo and Mexico? 🤯
So after yesterday's adventures in Greenland, today Meta (blessed be their infinite wisdom) have decided that the best audience for my ads is... Papua New Guinea 🤯
Why Meta, why?
So I was doing some advertising for Conqueror's City on Facebook/Instagram, and it was going reasonably well. Then on Sunday, engagement just tanked, and sales figures dropped right off.
Why? Because suddenly my ads were only being shown to people in Greenland!
WTF Meta? 😡
Wrote a bit of a cliché into the latest chapter in Histories of Asfáleia Book Two: Stone's Call.
Probably delete it later but tbh I got far too much amusement out of it 😂
