Last week was quite unproductive. This week, I used pomodoro timers and worked with @GradWriteSlack. Amazed at the amount of support structures out there for grad students to power through WFH :) P.s: Thankfully, my rockstar PI talked me out of 'planning' my todolist! #grateful

If submitting/writing your PhD thesis is one of your resolutions for 2021, I have some advice to help you kickstart.
1. Read a basic textbook from your field to acclimatize your brain
2. Join an accountability group. Check out @VWR_PGR @GradWriteSlack

Although acceptance of failure is a hurdle, I think many students learn this. One of the biggest challenges is a toxic work environment. Anecdotal evidence from >50 students who shared in @GradWriteSlack

Join @GradWriteSlack and start a Plan B wall or spot of some sort in your work area. The former will support you. The latter will remind you that you have options when support is not enough and you need to run away.
