I AM SCARED THAT I MIGHT DIE, AND NOBODY KNOWS HOW MUCH PAIN I AM LIVING WITH. 💔😭 I have rewritten this post countless times because I don't even know how to explain what is happening to me anymore. My life is falling apart, my body is failing me, and I am honestly scared that one day I might just collapse and never get back up. Please, if you see this on your timeline, don't scroll past me. I am not asking for luxury. I am not asking for a comfortable life. I am simply begging for a chance to know what is wrong with my body and, hopefully, get my life back. For a long time now, I have not been myself. I have tried different medications, hoping that one day I would wake up and feel normal again, but I keep getting worse. I feel something heavy beneath my left rib. I urinate excessively. I get tired from the smallest activities. I sweat even when the weather is cold. I have a metallic taste in my mouth, pains in my stomach whenever I squat, and sometimes a sharp pain that leaves me frightened. My heartbeat becomes irregular. Sometimes, someone simply closing a door is enough to make my heart race as though I am in danger. I cannot remember the last time I had a peaceful night's sleep. I experience disturbing, vivid dreams, and even when I close my eyes, my mind refuses to rest. I have lost my appetite, yet my body keeps getting bigger. I struggle to walk long distances without becoming exhausted. Every day, I wake up wondering what is happening to me. Sometimes, my mind goes straight to the possibility of kidney problems, and the fear alone is becoming unbearable. Last year, I went to the hospital and carried out some tests. The results showed a heavy growth of Staphylococcus aureus. Unfortunately, after paying for the tests, I barely had enough money left to pursue treatment. A doctor recommended Augmentin, explaining that it could help treat the infection based on my test results. I couldn't afford much, so I managed my condition and kept hoping that somehow things would get better. This year, I reached a point where I could no longer cope. I cried out for help here on X, and some incredibly kind strangers came through for me. Through their generosity, I was able to get two packs of Augmentin. I took one tablet in the morning and one in the evening for two weeks, as prescribed. I thought that would finally be the beginning of my healing. I prayed. I hoped. I waited. But today, I am still here, struggling. I have seen no improvement. I still feel terrible, and the symptoms that have made my life unbearable are still there. I don't know whether the infection is still present, whether something else is wrong, or whether there is another explanation for everything I am experiencing. I am not a doctor, and I don't want to keep guessing with my life. Someone advised me to return to the hospital and repeat the necessary investigations, including urine, semen and blood tests, so I can find out what is actually happening. I need 40,000 naira to carry out these tests. That is the amount standing between me and the opportunity to get answers about my health. Please understand what it means to be sick and not have the money to find out why. To feel pain every day and be unable to do anything about it. To wake up frightened, go to bed frightened, and spend the hours in between pretending that you are fine because you don't know who else to turn to. I am not lazy. I am not deliberately sitting around doing nothing. I am a young man who desperately wants to work, earn money, take care of himself and live a normal life. But this illness has made even the simplest things difficult. I can barely work the way I used to, and sometimes I cannot walk far without feeling exhausted. The most painful part is that people see me from the outside, but nobody truly knows what I am carrying inside. Nobody sees the fear, the sleepless nights, the pain, the uncertainty, or the silent tears.

No man is saying "men hate men" or "this is why I don't keep male friendships" in the comments and quotes. In fact, some men are still trying to blame the woman. If it were the other way around, birds will start saying "women hate women" and "female friendships are fake".
Drama as a husband reportedly confr0nted his best friend, Otega, at a hotel after he allegedly made advances toward his wife. According to the report, the wife had already told her husband that Otega had been disturbing her. They reportedly planned for her to agree to meet Otega at a hotel, while her husband was nearby, before he confronted him. The incident reportedly happened in Lagos.

“Our Youths And People Are Dying Every Day In This Country Because Of Fake Medications Being Administered In Hospitals. You Politicians Can Carry Yourselves And Your Families Abroad When You’re Sick, But What About Your People? If Those Countries You Run To For Treatment Were Like Us, Making Fake Drugs And Everything, How Would You Feel?”. ~ Nollywood Actress Ngozi Ezeonu Calls Out The Nigerian Government Over Fake Drugs And Injections Being Administered In Hospitals Across Nigeria.

The woman who sells pap for me was complaining to my neighbor that her 9-year-old daughter has started developing breasts, and to make matters worse, the girl has started menstruating. She was almost in tears. I asked her what was wrong with a 9yr old growing breasts and she said, “She is too young. Men will start pursuing her. How will I explain that this girl is only 9 years old? In our time, 9-year-olds didn't have breasts.” At first, her fear sounded almost funny to me. Because children developing early is not some indication that they are ready for men. Puberty doesn't suddenly make a 9-year-old an adult. But then I remembered something. Even when I was in school, particularly in junior secondary school, the girls who some male teachers went after were often the ones who developed breasts early, had fuller bodies and looked more physically mature than the other girls. Those of us who looked like broomsticks? Nobody sent us. And suddenly, I understood why this woman was afraid. Her fear wasn't completely irrational. She wasn't worried because she thought her daughter had suddenly become a woman. She was worried because she knows there are men who look at a child's developing body and choose to ignore the fact that she is still a child. And that is what bothers me. Why should a mother have to fear her daughter developing breasts early because men might start pursuing her? Does a child's body suddenly make her less of a child? A 9yr old with breasts is still 9 years old. A 9 yr old who menstruates is still 9 years old. Her body developing early does not give any adult permission to sexualize her. Maybe the conversation shouldn't be about teaching mothers not to fear puberty. Maybe we should be asking why there are grown men who need to be taught that a child is a child, regardless of what her body looks like.

If you are one of the staff owed salaries by @drsakintayo, speak out now and don't subscribe to any form of threat or intimidation from him, agents or privies whomsoever. A staff being paid is not a favour, not a privilege, and not an act of generosity. It is his/her right. When a person has worked, his wage/ salary becomes a debt you owe him/her, not a gift you are giving him/her. To delay it is abrupt injustice. To cut it is oppression. Awon Afiaje mofiayo!! Adaralode ma daa nile!!

GText, founded by Stephen Akintayo, has started bullying and intimidating me simply because I asked for the three months’ salary they owed me. I was blocked by the founder months ago after I repeatedly requested payment, and despite several attempts to resolve the matter, I was still not paid until I spoke publicly about it and the public pressure helped. I have nothing to apologize for. Asking for my legitimately earned salary is not an offence. What seems to be upsetting them now is that other former staff who are also owed money have started speaking up and asking for what they are owed. I will not be bullied, intimidated or pressured into silence for speaking about my own experience and asking for money I worked for. I stand by what I said, and I will continue to address this matter through the appropriate channels. @gtext @drsakintayo @gtexthomes #payyourstaff ##stopdisregardinglabourlaws

You can call me rude, call me a witch but one thing you can never call me is a liar. The day I said many men who fight for custody of their kids do not do so because they love the kids and can cater for them, they do so because they want to suffer the mother, some citizens of X almost removed my teeth. He took the kids but could not take care of them, just to punish the other, he handed them over to relatives. You will be shocked he never checked on them or how they were being treated. Imagine kids with both parents alive and doing well hawking fufu and suffering on the street. Now imagine the poor woman does not have the resources to pull such a move, she might have returned back to him or even leave the kids to continue suffering. The worse things you can ever deal with is a wicked man, you will realize that even his kids means nothing as long as he can use them as pawns to suffer their mother.
Today is a good day to tell you the story of how my mom “kidnapped” my sisters from the village and brought them to come and live with us in Warri. 😂 So when my parents’ marriage ended on a bitter note, I was with my mom when she left. She took me with her to Warri. After about two days, she went back to get my sisters, only to find out that my father had already taken my elder sister and my second sister to the village so that my mother would not have access to them. My mother went to my father’s village, but they refused to let her see my sisters. The minute they saw her coming, they would carry my sisters to another village. She tried about three times. She would spend money travelling from Warri to Mbaise, looking for her children, only to leave without seeing them. Then one woman in the village felt sorry for her and called her to come and see her children. She made things easier for her. When my mother finally saw my sisters that day, she cried. My sisters had grown so lean. They were going to the farm, hawking akpu and, worst of all, they were no longer going to school. Just imagine Gen Z children that my mother had been taking care of suddenly living that kind of life. Their necks had become long. 😭 My mother knew she had to do everything possible to bring her children back. So she went to see my father in Lagos. She bought rice, tea, food—everything. Then she told him, “Let us settle this thing. We are husband and wife. There is no need for all this.” She basically went back to him. My father thought his wife had finally come to her senses. 😂 My mom’s neighbour, Papa Emeka—God bless his soul—and his wife told my dad, “Since you and your wife have settled, go to Mbaise and bring your daughters.” My mother cooked with her own money, bought food, did everything to make him feel like, “Yes, my wife is back.” Meanwhile, this woman had a plan. One morning, my father, who is Catholic, said he would not attend first Mass. My mother said, “No problem. Let me and the children attend. We are already dressed.” My father had no idea what was happening. 😂 The minute he left, my mother carried my two sisters, took them to the bus park and put them inside the first bus going to Warri. By 7 a.m., they were already on their way. Before my father came to church for second Mass, my mother and her two children were already on their way to Warri

Did you know a woman created a device that can be inserted into the vagina to prevent women from getting graped but it got banned because they thought it was inhumane for r@pist!
There’s always a new birth control method for women but never for men. They should find a way and shove it into men’s penile organ .

🚨BREAKING: Akwa Ibom Police have reportedly arrested Dr. Benjamin Smith, Obidient Movement Coordinator, at the State Command in Ikot Akpan Abia. He went with supporters to secure the release of OK Movement coordinator @ElijahNoah8 and others picked up earlier in Uyo, after police cancelled their Independence Day march for Obi/Kwankwaso and tear-gassed supporters. The man who went to bail the detained is now detained. Why is it always the opposition the Nigerian Police harass? When was an APC march last tear-gassed? Is this still a democracy? @PoliceNG @aksgovt @PeterObi @KwankwasoRM First reply @valentineozigbo @balamiisaac @akintollgate — call this out. @channelstv @ARISEtv @MobilePunch @thecableng @PremiumTimesng @vanguardngrnews @GuardianNigeria @DailyPostNGR @ThisDayLive @SaharaReporters @TVCNewsNG @AIT_Online @NigerianTribune @pmnewsnigeria @BusinessDayng @LeadershipNGA @DailyTrust @BBCAfrica @ReutersAfrica @AJEnglish @AP @dw_africa @France24_en @CNNAfrica @amnesty @AmnestyNigeria @hrw

Let it be known that we have tried the diplomatic approach in Akwa Ibom state. Reason has failed and they have violated the social contract. It was not a protest. We were within our rights. This is campaign season. There is only one conclusion. Harassment and provocation by the Nigeria Police under the guidance of the APC. We will not turn the other cheek. …so be it…
