I genuinely don't understand how other people don't see this. We constantly treat other humans like "animals" and all collectively agree that it is ABSURDLY inhumane and evil. Maybe us treating anything "like an animal" is a part of the issue. the foot in the door phenomena

Intelligence or ability does not define moral worth. We could extend this argument to ppl with disabilities, children, and ppl who don’t have access to education. You have such a closed minded way of thinking. You don’t need to be intelligent to feel pain.
