Goshen Local Schools will operate on a 2-hour delay on Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2025. No a.m. preschool and the Learning Academy will open at 8 a.m.

Mrs. Cooper's class used sand to practice their sight words. The students really get to experience those tricky words with this tactile experience! Plus it just looks fun!

Today Marr Cook celebrated all the students who raised at least $100 for the Warrior Walk. We had an ice cream party in their honor. Great job little warriors.

We had the cutest board meeting last night. Last night the board invited the full day preschool to present. Mrs. Burns, Mrs. Doan, and Mrs. Chmura presented some amazing students. Our young warriors are learning so much. They also had a brain break and danced with the board.

Today Miss Ferone's class learned the FLOSS rule. In one syllable words after a short vowel, we double the letter if it ends with F, L, S, Z. We also call this rule Sammy loves fried zebra. They tried to learn the floss dance to help remember this phonics rule.

Miss Ferone’s target time group was working on reading fluency and comprehension this week. They learned about Johnny Appleseed. Mr. Larson even dress like Johnny and gave the group a surprise visit!
