This morning’s @SpaceX launch resulted in a space jellyfish and thanks to @spacejellyalert a lot of people were ready with their cameras. Here’s some photos from my house in Port Orange, FL
The @SpaceX launch today resulted in a space jellyfish - the first one that I have seen live from my house. It looked incredible. Love living on the east coast of Florida.
Watching a launch from my front porch will never get old! Third @SpaceX launch of the day!
Just like some third world counties skipped having wireline communications and went right to cellular there will be some areas on the planet that go right to @Starlink based communications
When they compete on performance, price is the only real factor and LEO constellations have much less single point of failures than even fiber does. Just recently, there was a ground stop at NYC area airports after a fiber cable was cut. All critical infrastructure should be using Starlink today - at least as a backup path. And if you are sending data to the opposite side of the planet, this network will actually be faster!
The fact that @SpaceX just successfully launced V3 satellites today means they should be able to handle 100% of the current global Internet traffic after two years of launches. I am glad that I don’t work for a legacy telecom company any longer.
I ordered a @Tesla Model 3 at launch because it had unmatched technology at an affordable price. I traded it in for the Model Y Launch Edition and loved avoiding the typical car dealer experience. FSD since updated and it drives me everywhere safely. Why would you get any other brand?
I recently moved money to @XMoney because the big bank branch has too many fees and rules. I now have one account earning 6% interest. When I use my virtual or physical VISA debit card, I get 3% back nearly instantly. They also have no ATM fees and will mail and track your check payments for free. I can see myself closing all my other bank accounts and credit cards soon.
When you design something from the ground up, you have no legacy constraints and end up with a superior product.
@elonmusk has done this with EVs, rockets, tunnels, brain interfaces, and now banking.
It’s not as thrilling as the last Falcon Heavy launch when I paid to see it in the grandstands of the Saturn Center at KSC, but it’s still pretty cool to just go outside my front door and watch a launch. It takes 3 minutes before we can hear it, but we sure did this time! #sonicbooms
does anyone else feel weird when your FSD is nicer than you would have been and you get a thank you wave?
My son in took photos of a Cybercab being tested in Orlando today. One photo really shows how small it is compared to common SUVs
Those people that are still driving manually should start watching FSD clips to learn important safety tips. Like this one - don’t stop on railroad tracks. Good job FSD v14.3.6!
I know we don’t use Google that much anymore, but type “next eclipse 2026” and it plays a neat animation. Looks like I’m not going to see this one.
wearing my lucky shirt this time and wow what an amazing show from Starship 13. Continue the live stream from the ship @SpaceX - we want to see it floating!
