Every fear I had about Celtic today when I saw team came true. Changing formation & personnel makes little difference if the team isn't well coached. However, some of MON's recent decisions like starting Tounetki at Ibrox & McCowan today are bewildering. Tactics also shambolic.
If you aren't well coached & organised you are going to struggle in modern football. This Celtic team, no matter the personnel, seem to have no clue what they are doing on or off the ball.
Tonight again showed for me that we aren't going to plug in an athletic, physical MF or tinker about with current set-up and sort Celtic's big problems. We need to make major changes to tactics to give us a platform to win at weekend or we are going to get bullied & ran over.
This Celtic squad is very weak with gaping holes in key areas but the main problems are caused by tactics & coaching. It's a total shambles on & off the ball.
I don't know what Celtic do on training pitch all week but it's certainly not how to work ball out from defence. Continually run out of ideas as teams leave our limited CB's on ball & we play ourselves into trouble.
Collective failure today. Board for not addressing long running squad issues. MON & coaches for team selection & tactics, particularly in-game. Players for weak, insipid performances. They've got a considerable job to do in coming week
Who would have thought our midfield would be a major problem lacking physicality & ability to compete? Oh that's right, anyone that has watched us over last couple of season. The fact this wasn't addressed in summer is criminal
I'm at stage now where I don't just want Tounetki subbed at half time but that I don't want to see him play again. Heart of a mouse.
Celtic are going to change something here to get a grip of this game. Getting overrun in MF & Tounetki is a passenger providing nothing on wing
Brilliant night last night seeing the Bootleg Beatles at the Barras. Seen them a few times over the years, including a few times supporting Oasis. Always put on a brilliant show. Absolutely note perfect.
Camilo Duran is that good I'm already thinking Celtic will struggle to hold on to him beyond next summer. Best enjoy him while he is here! 🍀
Moses Itauma inexperience done him there. Gassed out & when things started going awry he never tried to spoil or change things & ran his battery to empty even quicker. Great fight though

A lot of the 'controversy' over decisions in Scottish football would be removed if the pundits & general public knew & understood the laws of the game. Pretty clearcut decisions seem to create lots of fuss for the hard of thinking
