NEWS: 2027 big man Precious Sam has committed to San Diego State, he tells @LeagueRDY.
The 6-foot-11 big man out of Southeastern Prep (FL) ultimately chose San Diego State over Washington and UCF amongst others.
Very solid pickup for Brian Dutcher and SDSU.

The 6-foot-11 big plans to make his college announcement next weekend.
BYU is the most fraudulent #2 ranked team I might’ve ever seen in my entire life.
Not a single team stayed put in this week’s AP Top 25.
Miami is No. 1 for the first time since 2002 and BYU climbs to No. 2 after a historic weekend of upsets. See where your team landed: apnews.com/hub/ap-top-25-col…

Loved @chance_gladden in grassroots. Had Ivy-level grades. Had great freshman season at @TerrierMBB. Was very impressive Friday night for @Aztec_MBB vs. @ArizonaMBB. A major addition for Brian Dutcher.
Wow what an incredible win. That was an ass kicking last week and to come back and win this week you gotta give credit to Lewis and the players. Vibe changing game.

just your very normal 21-17 over here
nothing weird going on
this is all standard stuff
Days like today in college football remind me Operation Ivy was correct. “All I know is that I don’t know nothin”.

Arizona gets the win over San Diego State 82-67 in the first exhibition of the 2026-27 season
My initial thoughts:
- Loved the intensity of the game. The Aztecs had a lot of really great moments against a Top 5 team.
- The defense looks to be back
- I really want to know what the offense looks like with Skoric out there.
- Bear Cherry is a force
- Isaiah Sy is a sniper
- Chance Gladden has elite ball movement
- It may take David Torresani some time to settle in (gives me Sean Newman Jr. vibes)
- I'm not worried about Elzie Harrington or Latrell Davis
- Need to see more from Luca Vincini
I’m not even mad at the result (it’s an exhibition game). I generally like what I saw, Arizona is really good no shame in losing or not looking perfect, I believe the team will improve over the course of the season.
I REALLY like the makeup of this team so far. And Elzie and Latrell have practically 0 points. I don’t think that will happen too many times in the season.
